PROLAW SUPPORTED CONFIGURATIONS

The following table defines the supported configurations for ProLaw 11 and 9. Clients are strongly advised to confirm that their environments comply with the supported configurations. However, clients can elect to use a non-supported version of the applications listed below at their own risk, or continue to use a version of ProLaw that supports a particular version. If issues arise under those circumstances, then they will be advised to comply with the supported configurations. For specific details regarding system requirements, please refer to Elite Knowledge Base article 71183: ProLaw Version 11 Product System Requirements (PSR). Please also review the Thomson Elite Policy on Virtualization of Servers. Database/ Application Server Operating System Windows Server 2008 R2 bit requires ProLaw 11.12 or higher Windows Server 2008 64 bit requires ProLaw 11.11.4 Windows Server 2008 requires ProLaw 11.8 or higher. Windows Server 2008 does not support Portable ProLaw. Windows Server 2008 is not supported with ProLaw v9. Windows Server 2003 is supported in ProLaw 9 or higher. SQL Server 2008 R2 bit requires ProLaw 11.12.3 or higher

Windows 7 requires ProLaw 11.12 or higher, SP1 requires v11.12.5 and higher Vista 64 bit requires ProLaw 11.11.4. Vista requires ProLaw 11.8 or higher or 9.10 or higher. Professional versions supported for XP. Windows XP SP3 and Vista SP1 have been tested. A multiple Exchange server environment requires ProLaw v11.3 and Exchange 2010 Exchange 2010 requires Groupware Agent for Exchange (GWAE).

HotDocs 2009 support is available in ProLaw 11.12.4.0 and higher. HotDocs 2008 support is available in ProLaw 11.11.0.0 and higher. HotDocs 2006, 2007 and 2008 are only supported with

HotDocs 2006 and 2007 support is available in ProLaw 9.10.1 or 11.10 and higher. 5.1 (Word 2003/2007 and Adobe Acrobat/Reader 8) The extent of this integration only addresses the conflict with ProLaw Pro Filing and Workshare Professional Comparison feature. Only supported in ProLaw 11.11.0.0 and higher

Workshare Professional

Document Management Systems DocsOpen 4.0 DocsOpen is not supported by SQL Server 2005 or 2000 SP4. Microsoft SQL Server 2003 is supported through SP3 for ProLaw 11 clients running PC DOCS/DOCSOpen. DM 6 support requires version 9.10.1 or 11.10 and higher. DM 5.x support requires version 9.6 or higher. Interwoven 8.1 and 8.2 requires v9.10.1 or higher. Interwoven Version 8.2 SP1 has not been tested. Version 7 is not supported by MS SQL 2005 or higher WORLDOX 2002 requires ProLaw 11.

8 Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 6 ProLaw can create transactions by importing text files generated by your cost recovery system. The file must meet the following basic requirements: It must be in either fixed-width or delimited format. Billback, Equitrac, Each line of the file must include at least: the component, date of the Copitrak transaction (in mm/dd/yy format), Matter ID and either the transaction amount or units. The format of the information should be the same from line to line. PeachTree Payroll, Intuit ProLaw can import payroll data by importing ASCII text files generated by QuickPayroll PeachTree Payroll or Intuit QuickPayroll. Westlaw QuickView+ Requires ProLaw 9.2 or higher.
