com] Sent: Sunday, January 03, 2010 12:03 AM To: KISD, Fraud Subject: FW: Violation at Shoemaker High School I am reporting a violation of the KISD and Federal NCLB Policy Title IV, Part ASafe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities. On December 17, 2009 at Shoemaker High School, my spouse received a Christmas gift containing a 1.7 ounce bottle of Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum and package of beverage napkins imprinted with the phrase, "Santa's a typical man, he knows where are the bad girls live." Included with these items was a Christmas card that read "May you be filled with holiday "spirits" now and throughout the New Year, Michelle. These items were wrapped and placed in my spouse's teacher mailbox at Shoemaker High School. My spouse picked up the Christmas package from the teachers mailbox in the front office at the end of the day on Thursday December 17. Upon arrival at home, the package was opened, as I witnessed it. I could not believe that an administrator would put my spouse's job, teaching certificate, and integrity at risk. I am holding the items, the bottle of rum and napkins at our home. My spouse believes the card signed Michelle is from Michelle Greene, the Curriculum Director at Shoemaker High School and my spouse's PDAS appraiser. My spouse witnessed four other teachers, who wish to remain anonymous and are assigned to the same PDAS appraiser, open their gift on Friday morning at Shoemaker. Theses teachers received a similar gift that included alcohol and a package of beverage napkins, which were received in their mailboxes on the school campus. I was also told that one counselor and one Assistant Principal received a similar gift of alcohol and beverage napkins from Michelle Greene. I find this action appalling, an administrator who is suppose to be a role model, would possess and distribute alcohol to teachers and other administrators while on campus. This act resulted in these individuals being in possession of alcohol on campus without their knowledge. In addition, I also would note that the nature and language of the napkins are offensive and sexual in nature, which may be construed as sexual harassment.

I am reporting this anonymously due to the fact my spouse and colleagues are fearful of possible ramifications toward them for reporting this incident. Hotmail: Trusted email with powerful SPAM protection. Sign up now. Hotmail: Trusted email with Microsoft's powerful SPAM protection. Sign up now.
