ABOUT INSTITUTE
Bharati Vidyapeeth was established in May 1964 by Dr. Patangraoji Kadam with the objective of bringing out intellectual awakening and all sided development of people of our country through education. With a sprawling area and excellent infrastructure the institute caters to the technical manpower requirement of the surrounding industrial zone. The highly experienced and professionally competent faculty members are also involved in the Staff Training Program for the Reliance industries Ltd., Relene Petrochemicals and IPCL, Nagothane. BVIT is certified Microsoft Program Center. It is also centre for TOEFL Exam. The institute prepares students to meet the ever increasing technological and social changes with its tradition of self discipline, hard work, all round personality development and creative approach to problem solving.

ABOUT VENTURA
The idea of VENTURA, a project exhibition and paper presentation, was conceived and initiated by us in year 1999 with an objective to provide a common platform for diploma students of various disciplines from different colleges in and around Mumbai to exhibit their technical skills. It has grown leaps and bounds since then.

Rules & Regulations :
1. All students exhibiting a particular project/model should belong to the same institution and a maximum of 4 participants per group and only two groups per college are allowed. 2. Students must bring their college ID cards. 3. Entry should be from the above mentioned Groups. 4. Synopsis (1000 words max.) must be sent before 26/02/2011 via email to bvit.ventura@gmail.com 5. The First page of synopsis should contain Project Title, Group, Institution, Name of Project Guide, Names of Participants. Actual synopsis, which starts from 2nd page, should contain Introduction, Project description, Applications, Future Scope, Advantages and Disadvantages. 6. All the participants have to submit one copy of project report for the judges on the day of exhibition. 7. Decision given by judges in all the matters will be final & binding. 8. After notification of acceptance, D. D. of ` 600/- (per group per project) drawn in favour of Principal, BVIT, Navi Mumbai & Payable at Navi Mumbai, should be sent to college address before 3rd March 2011. 9. A 230V AC supply will be provided to every stall. Participants in computer group shall bring their project along with their machines, spike guard etc. to avoid inconvenience. 10. If some special arrangement is required at a stall, participants should arrange for it a day before the exhibition. 11. Hostel facility will be provided @Rs. 100 per person/day 12.
