HAVER RADIMAT
Automatic Bag Applicator
HAVER bag applicator technology is used for a wide variety of bag types
As an automated system, the RADIMAT automatic bag applicator for rotary packing machines offers maximum flexibility for new projects through its: modular design standard adaptability to a wide range of bag types automatic adjustment for varying bag sizes
adaptability to the rotary speed of the ROTO-PACKER Continuous operation is achieved by using a low maintenance servo-drive system that has been tried and proven by HAVER time and again.
Other decisive productivity factors include high speeds and bag placing reliability which dont adversely affect the subsequent filling system. This allows the use of large diameter filling tubes for achieving: maximum filling speeds excellent weight accuracies exceptional bag cleanliness
HAVER RADIMAT in standard configuration the basis for high production capability
By using an intermediate storage during bundle changes with 25 kg bags, production rates of up to 4000 bags/hr. can be reached.
The RADIMAT can process sealable valve bags with extended valves reliably and secure.
Configurations that are flexible and designed to meet specific customer needs
Whenever changes in bag types are frequent, the bundle system with direct feeding from an empty bag rotary feeder is the best choice.
Advantages: the desired angle between the RADIMAT and magazine for empty bags is selectable magazine positioning in the empty bag storage above or under the packing machine magazine lengths of 3 to 10 meters are possible
An entire system
HAVER depalletizing system for empty bags feeding bag bundles simultaneously to two bag applicator systems. (More information is available from the special HAVER Depalletizer System for Empty Bags brochure).
An entire system
The HAVER RADIMAT configuration for using empty bag reels can provide some economic advantages: capable of handling empty bag reels of up to 4000 empty bags double magazines greatly reduce change-over times of reels the system requires only minimal operator time and attention safe handling of empty bag reels a flexible and customer tailored project configuration is possible
The special advantages of the reel magazines in simple or double configuration emerge in high speed systems. At speeds greater than 2000 bags/hr., a significant time-savings factor is achieved using a reel magazine as opposed to a bundle magazine becaucse only one bag reel insertion step is necessary.

HAVER automation
Whenever various weights, products or bag sizes are automatically employed by a packing or palletizing system, a central single-button selection allows this to be done easily. A total of 31 sorts may be assigned and administrated. Data, related to the product sort and used for adjustment purposes, are stored in either the SPS system or by the weigher electronics.
Updating and modifying data can be done using the Teach-In-Modus or through the keyboard. A special programming unit is not necessary for doing this. Sort data transmission to the palletizer from the SPS is possible and allows the machine to be adjusted for different bag sizes automatically from the control center.
The following adjustments may be carried out: ROTO-PACKER: 1 = ROTO-PACKER rotary speed; 2 = weigher parameters; 3 = filling impeller rotary speed; 4 = saddle height RADIMAT: 5 = applicator head; 6 = suction bar; 7 = bundle stop; 8 = bundle transport Conveyor unit: 9 = height of bag discharge belt; 10 = bag alignment unit Conveyor check weigher: 11 = weigher parameters
