ABSTRACT

Hotel Continental suffers from regression due to economical

problems. There are low rate of customers during 1987-1988. For the continuation of its
life, the firm needs to renovate its facilities and add other services. . Addition up to its
problem is the competition. There are a lot of Hotels, Inns, Resorts, Apartel and other
lodging industry in Philippines which offers good services compared to Hotel
Continental. But the company recorded losses about P2-3 million and it is quite
impossible for the firm to fulfil its mission and vision.
Mr. Oscar Mendoza as an owner of Triumph Tours is planning to rent
or buy the Hotels facilities since it is leasing it out. But he is concerned with the firms
condition and also to his customers where he is going to settle in while in the country.
The problem is now given but the main concern is where the firm get its fund. That is
why it must use an alternative course of action. The ACA#1 is to loan and ACA#2 is to
find an investor or the owner itself invests in the company. Through the use of five-point
likest scale and stating their advantages and disadvantages it is recommended that
ACA#1 is the best solution for the firms problem.
