Section 1-Executive Summary


Fixt. provides computer and technical consulting (repairs, training, networking, and upgrade service) to local small businesses as well as personal PC and Mac users. Fixt. is in the process of further developing the companys vision and strategic focus to add more services to our target market segments, from small business, high-end home office users, to large corporations in our local market. In the beginning, Fixt... decided to focus mainly on the small business market, as these customers typically do not have full-time IT staff but do have full-time IT needs. Fixt. offers an affordable, on demand service for these customers. Recently, Fixt. has extended its operations to include training for corporations, online diagnostics, at-home repairs, and mainframe maintenance for large corporations. To reach our true potential, Fixt. will focus on marketing services, responsiveness, quality, and creating and retaining customer relations. Fixt. wants to fulfill the need for quality vendors of reliable hardware, software, service, and expertise. In the next few years, the companys aspirations are to generate substantial market share (so that Fixt. is a common name), constant growth in the sales from start up to year three, and to generate customer satisfaction so that at least 40% of our customer base are loyal to Fixt. (repeat business). Long term, Fixt. will need to borrow $5,000,000 in order to implement changes and improve profitability. This amount is in-line with our companys capabilities. Implementing this plan, in combination with a comprehensive financial and marketing plan, will ensure that Fixt. will rapidly become a profitable venture. Fixt. is a professional IT company that offers technical support, technical training and consultation. We want to offer you cutting edge services that are simple and convenient to access. You give us the green light to connect to your computer remotely and we will fix your PC while you take care of business. We offer service to both platforms Mac and PC. Our Certified Technicians will diagnose and repair errors found in your software, hardware, connectivity, security and peripheral devices. Fixt. will focus on two markets: Individuals and Businesses. No job is too large, or too small; we are the go-to guys for technical care. While we offer maintenance plans for some of our customers, our goal is to fix it right the first time and establish ourselves as their first call for their technology needs. Keys to Success: Our open lines of communication and personal care will give us respect in the public eye. We make technology easy to be understood because we acknowledge that our customers are from different levels of computer literacy and age groups. We will troubleshoot and identify issues with slow-running PCs, error messages, and more. We will also help with installing new devices and software, connecting printers or scanners, protecting our customers files, help set up wireless networks, establish firewall protection, set up

home networks, add computers, video game consoles, and mobile devices to networks, troubleshoot high-speed internet connections, solve computer and network performance issues, resolve pop-up issues, identify and remove viruses and spyware, scan PCs for threats, secure Wi-Fi networks, update internet browsers, secure on-line privacy, and provide advice on the best internet security solutions. We will hold training seminars for corporations, and specialize in server and mainframe maintenance. We are proud to serve and support the business sector to create a greater America.

Section 2-Company Background


Our company was founded in 2008 after meeting at the Apple WWDC in 2007 to discover new products and ideas coming out of Cupertino. During the meet and greet we discovered we each possessed unique talents and decided to leave our respective companies and venture out and create our own start up. In 2009 we started "Fixt." after renting floor space in an office building as well as warehouse space. We initially only did on-call IT work and online help to private customers but as the business grew we came up with innovative ideas to stay ahead of the curve such as holding training seminars for corporations that already had their own established IT departments, on-call services to corporate and private customers, online help which included the ability to diagnose and sometimes repair problems from our office to the customer's home or business without having the customer incur extra fees to have a technician drive out, and lastly we developed a new group of technicians whose sole focus would be server and mainframe maintenance for large corporations in order to lessen the cost and burden on their payroll, accounting, and human resources departments. The name "Fixt." came from successfully solving a problem or repairing a device and the sound that the word "fixed" makes when someone says it. The period at the end is to illustrate that our repairs are of such high quality that you won't have to call us out again for the same problem which has the opposite effect of what someone might think regarding not obtaining repeat business. While we do offer maintenance plans for some of our customers, we prefer to fix it right the first time and establish ourselves as your first call for your technology needs.

Section 3-Management Team


For now, the CFO will handle all bookkeeping, accounting, and tax duties. We will use legal services as needed from outside. We will also use outside insurance services.

Section 5-Capital Required


Currently, we are in a rather explosive growth period in which our seed money is drying up

and we require more capital in order to maintain business. While we are turning a profit year to year we are expanding at such a rate that we require additional capital to expand capacity. Our first choice of capital would be an angel investor or a bank loan due to not wanting to hand over too much control of the company to a venture capitalist until we can successfully grow the company large enough to have less of a risk of a hostile takeover. Our payroll, product, and special requirements are $1,000,000 per year and with profits remaining steady at 10% per year. We estimate that we would need an additional $5,000,000 per year for the next 2 years to accommodate our current growth and only an additional $3,000,000 for 3 years after that for maintenance and upkeep as calculated based on expenditures vs. revenue. The capital will be used to fund operations including the following:

Cost of operations (parts and supplies) Compensation of officers and pension/benefit plans for officers Repairs Bad debts Rent on business property Taxes Interest Depreciation/Amortization Advertising

Section 6-Marketing Plan


So far we have been very successful with our customer service oriented approach to marketing in that we don't have to spend a lot of money on advertising because mere word of mouth has provided us with sufficient fuel to grow and mature as a company. We have also used social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter to announce new positions available, services, and products with great success. This can be attributed less to our general ages but more to our ability to keep up with the latest trends and communicate well with our customer base despite any age differences. We also plan to advertise in a select few magazines because as the internet evolves, printed versions of periodicals seem to be on the decline. These magazines would be: MacWorld, PC Magazine, and Wired. The reason for choosing these 3 is to appeal to our Apple customers, our Windows/Linux customers, and the reason for advertising in Wired would be because although many of the readers of Wired generally do their own work, there are still problems that creep up that people need assistance with that may not be found in the forums or with a quick Google search. Plus many readers of Wired work in the IT field and may be interested in joining the Fixt. family. Lastly, we plan to hire developers to create apps for the various mobile and desktop/laptop operating systems that will allow customers to reach us easier and send us the critical data that we require to enhance the speed at which we diagnose their problems. This will allow us to do more of our work from the office and through our field technicians and reduce the uneasiness that people feel with regards to privacy when having to leave a device with us so that we can work on it.

Section 7-Location Analysis


Many successful business owners would say that one of the most important things to

remember when starting a business is location, location, location! We think that our current location not only helps us target the demographic that we are trying to appeal to, but also gives us the ability to grow at a fast rate. Currently, our facilities are located in Los Angeles, California. We believe the big city atmosphere is what makes our business successful. We chose the west coast over anywhere else because we are located in the heart of a large city with a lot of big businesses. We have found during our time of operation that being located around other large companies is a benefit to us. Whether it is the large banks, film and television studios, or any other large corporation, our company is there to help them with technology questions and services. We did consider having our facilities on the east coast but decided we could possibly wait until we need to expand. Being in the heart of a large city like Los Angeles, many of the clients have offices very close to ours. For big business owners, our company being able to go to the customers site to solve their problems personally, if necessary, which will help set us apart from other companies like ours. For others, such as Best Buys Geek Squad, they simply do not have the capabilities of coming to help any faster than we do. We know that no job is too large or too small and our professional service has made a name for itself and we are becoming the go-to guys for technical care. Our location makes us easily available to our clients and our large city makes our name spread like wild fire. We also have a domain name that is simply Fixt.com. There, people can go to have their issues handled via the World Wide Web. For those people who use Facebook and search engine websites such as Google, we regularly have ads on their page. For us, location and the ability to access our services are the main reasons our company is growing so fast. Our clients know that we are the only company they should call when they need their problems "Fixt.".

Section 8-Manufacturing Plan


There will be a plant and equipment to fix the customers products in the plant when their equipment cannot be fixed at their sites. The machines required will include at least three machines to be used as servers with multiple routers to give us the ability to connect to customers servers/personal computers via remote software connections, and certain other equipment. The staffing will include the team members hired to perform online diagnostics and technicians to perform hardware repairs at this facility. The facility will also contain four work tables, chairs, desks for the staff, adequate lighting, phones, fax machines, and other standard office furniture and materials to run the office/work area. Inventory will be acquired as needed to fix customer equipment and personnel will be recruited, hired, and trained as revenues increase and operations expand. We will stock an adequate inventory of spare parts required most often by customers and keep a record of what we have on hand and increase or decrease levels as needed based on periodic audits.
