Sunrise Senior Living Center: Volunteer to spend time with the residents of an assisted living community for seniors! Volunteers facilitate games such as Bingo, cards, etc. and spend time visiting with residents one on one. (TUES, 3 APRIL and THUR, 12 APRIL 1800-2000) 15 VOLUNTEERS MAX Father Joes Village: Father Joes Village serves over 3,000 meals a day, every day of the year, to the homeless here in San Diego. Please join us in helping serve dinner to the large number of people that come to the village to receive meals. (THUR, 5 and 19 APRIL 1600-1900) 20 VOLUNTEERS MAX

7 ACT Today! 5k/10k Run/ Walk 0800-1300

ACT Today! 5K/10k Run/Walk: This event benefits military families affected by Autism. Join us at Fiesta Island in Mission Bay to assist with various duties including: setup, registration, distribution of t-shirts, goody bags food and beverages. Water, coffee, fruit, and baked goods will be available to all volunteers. (SAT, 7 APRIL 0800-1300) NO MAX Dog Beach Cleanup: Join us at the Ocean Beach Dog Beach to cleanup trash and debris. Families welcome and bring your dog! All supplies will be provided, along with treats for the dogs! (SAT, 14 APRIL 0900-1100) NO MAX Homework Helpers: Tutor local students of all ages in a variety of subjects. Help children with their homework-volunteers are paired with children based on subject interest and knowledge. (TUES, 10, 17, and 24 APRIL 1800-2000) 25 VOLUNTEERES MAX Feeding America San Diego: We will be sorting and stocking the Feeding America San Diego warehouse to make sure our local San Diegans in need are fed. Help sort and package food for distribution to food banks throughout San Diego. Kids are welcome ages 6 and up. (WED, 11 and 25 APRIL 1800-2000) 25 VOLUNTEERS MAX PWI Casino & Bingo Night: PWI (Partnerships with Industry) is an organization that helps adults with disabilities find jobs in San Diego. Join us at their Casino/Bingo Night to help with setup, to run games, and cleanup. (FRI, 20 APRIL 1600-1900) 15 VOLUNTEERS MAX Healthy Kids Day: Volunteer at the 7th Annual ASYMCA Healthy Kids Day! Volunteers are needed to help with the following areas/needs: set up/tear down, registration, snack/water monitor, snack assembly, activity leaders (tug a war, volleyball, obstacle course, toddler time, soccer, etc.) prize monitor, and entertainment. There are TWO volunteer shifts; lunch will be provided for both shifts. You may volunteer for both shifts, or just one. Contact Lyndsay Neer at lneer@asymcasd.org or (858) 7515755 to sign up. (SAT, 21 APRIL 0900-1200 OR 1130-1500) 40 VOLUNTEERS MAX Neighborhood Exchange: We have partnered up with the San Diego Food Bank! Volunteers needed for organizing food for hundreds of military families for a free food giveaway. Volunteers are also needed for set up, carrying food to cars and breakdown. (THUR, 26 APRIL 0845-1300) 15 VOLUNTEERS MAX Childrens Book Party: For the third year in a row, the ASYMCA will be attending the annual Childrens Book Party. Volunteers are needed to assist with things such as: providing crowd control, helping with setup and distribution of books to children, and helping with refreshments and other various jobs. Join us in Balboa Park for this years 28th Annual Childrens Book Party! (SAT, 28 APRIL 0700-1100) NO MAX
