I am giving this advice as my mother has been a dentist/ dental lab technition f or 24 years.

I have used professional whitening trays (made especially for my te eth) with 30% volume bleach. I loved how this made my teeth look but over using it cause severe tooth sensitivity and nerve damage. My teeth were so white they looked see through. This cosmetic procedure can be very costly and harming if yo u do not know what you are doing. Also, I do not recommend using 'home bleaching ' products such as pre whitening rinse, whitening toothpaste and gels and strips . Although these are okay, they are not meant to be used together nor are they m eant to be used everyday. You will notice extreme sensitivity and not get the re sults you want. Remember if you have vaniers of any kind, they will not bleach o r become whiter, all it will do is make the stains disappear, it will not actual ly whiten the tooth below the surface. Also, hydrogen poroxide is not safe at al l. It can cause major damage to your mouth and gums and can be fatal if swallowe d. Here is what I do : Step One: Floss- you need to removed all plaque and build-up from around the tooth and gum Step Two: Brush your teeth daily as you would normally do. I brush after every m eal. Step Three: Rinse your mouth with luke warm water. cold water or hot water can b e harming to your nerves and your gums and will be shocking. Step 4: Make a paste with water, toothpaste and baking soda. And brush your teet h again gently. Brushing harder will not make your teeth whiter, it will and can eat the enamel off your teeth. Step Five: Rinse your mouth again with luke warm water. Step Six: Rinse with a antiseptic mouth wash. I do recommend Listerine every day but not when you do this at home remedy. I would uses a non alcohol based mouth washed on the days you uses this remedy. REMEMBER: this is not a permanent solution, this is only temporary. Do not do th is daily. If you have really bad, and I mean really bad stains or yellow teeth i recommend twice a week for 2 weeks and then once a week there after to remove w eekly surface stains. Please remember that we are not striving for just white teeth we are striving fo r healthy white teeth. NOTE: These things contribute to yellow, and stained teeth regularly: SMOKING, C OFFEE, TEA, DARK SODAS, AND ALACHOLIC BEVERAGES. ALL THESE ARE NO NO'S FOR YOUR TEETH.

OR 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th see brush your teeth like you do. get a cotton swap and put tooth paste and baking soda on it. 'paint' the tooth paste and baking soda on your teeth. let it sit on your teeth for 5 min rinse and brush your teeth and do this daily. if you do this daily you will a huge differents. rember this will not work fo everyone

OR What you need-> Hydrogen Peroxide(drugstore kind in brown bottle) and baking sod a Fill the lid of the peroxide bottle about 1/2 way full with BAKING SODA. Then fi ll the remainder of the lid with the peroxide but not all the way to the rim(so it doesn't spill out), then stir the mixture with the opposite tip of your tooth brush. This will create a paste you can use to brush your teeth with. For best r esult let the paste sit for about 2 minutes so it can thicken up. After brushing , quickly rinse your entire mouth out with luke warm water thoroughly. Be carefu l when brushing your teeth not to get excess mixture on your lips/tongue/gums be cause yes it will tingle and turn your gums light pink/white, if you do, dont wo rry, it usually goes away before noon if you do it in the morning. I do this eve ry other day and it PRODUCES IMMEDIATE RESULTS- i love it, thats why im reccomen ding it, and its basically free compared to the $100 professional bleach they wi ll use on you at the dental office, and alot healthier for your teeth, i would i magine.

OR Okay, this morning I decided to experiment. I heard they use Baking Soda on the Statue of Liberty, so I put some Baking Soda on my toothpaste (while on the toot hbrush, of course) and brushed my teeth. Wow! I could not believe it!!! They wer e white! Not quite pearly white, but they were white! But I did notice part of m y gums were bleeding. Incase this happens to you, don't worry... It only jappene d because the plaque was builing up in your gums. I also noticed that there was a texture difference in my teeth. They were smooth!
