0-5 mins Teacher to introduce the project to the pupils and explain the WILFs and Keywords of the lesson. C

Explanation of learning log Throughout this term students will be completing a learning log, this will 5-10 mins allow teacher to see progression as well as students. Students to complete first column of learning log Teachers to introduce MS Excel to pupils. They should explain that a spreadsheet is made up of cells and each cell has a cell reference. 10-20 mins Ask pupils to identify row, column, cell, specific cell on IWB using the spreadsheet on page 4 of the flip chart. Pupils to complete the cell referencing worksheet task. Teacher to use the teacher demo worksheet to show pupils how to fill cells, identify cell references and use the fill handle. Pupils to then complete the 20-30 mins instructions given to them on Sukis Skate Shop Worksheet. Teacher to demonstrate how to create formulas (Could use demo 2 worksheet) so that they can work out the revenue from the shop. They 30-45 mins should then complete the spreadsheet. TEACHER TO MAKE IT CLEAR THAT THE LEVELS ARE INDICATED ON THE SPREADSHEET

Teacher to talk about how they could use their model to look at different possible outcomes. They are to answer the What if questions? What have I learnt? Students to take quiz on VLE

Teacher and pupils to recap the WILFs and the keywords to review what 55-60 mins they have learnt. Homework Give out homework sheets and get pupils to fill in their planners.
