MH Technical Course

Operational Training gives the students knowledge of safe and correct operation of the equipment. A trained crew is safer, more efficient and causes less downtime. Maintenance Training gives the students a good understanding of the equipment's hydraulic and electrical system. Practical training is part of the course. Trained maintenance personnel perform safer maintenance and more efficient trouble-shooting. All MH Courses have a target plan and a final verification test. A training manual is provided for each student. Additionally, each student receives a course certificate after the verification test.

The Hydraulics Course gives the students basic understanding of hydraulics using classroom education and practical training The Electrical / Instrumentation Course gives the students basic electrical understanding using classroom education and practical training The MH PLC/RMC Course gives the students basic PLC understanding using classroom educationand practical training All MH Courses have a target plan and a final verification test. A training manual is provided for each student. Additionally, each student receives a course certificate after the verification test.

MH Tailormade Project Course

The MH Tailormade Project Course is intended for installations that have drilling and pipe handling equipment from MH. The training is made rig specific. To increase the operational understanding, CBT (Computer Based Training) is used. CBT contains animations of the operations, operator panels and equipment description. The training consists of two sections: Operation and Maintenance.

MH Guiding
MH guiding is intended for installations in operation. A skilled instructor or a senior service engineer visits the rig and spends time with the operators and maintenance personnel during operation. MH Guiding has no theoretical training, but provides the operators and maintenance personnel with useful information regarding safe and effective operation and maintenance. There is no target plan, material, certificate or verification test for the MH Guiding.

MH Training facilities
We use modern technology in our classrooms to provide students with the best possible technical understanding during the courses. Animations and films of the equipment are used together with skilled technical instructors. A testing facility makes it possible for the students to try actual trouble-shooting on a PLC controlled hydraulic system.

Our standard courses have a fixed rate of NOK 3,800,- per day for each student. The rate includes training material, lunch and refreshments. Travel time, expenses and accommodation for delegates are not included in our prices. Your delegate must sign up for the course at least 2 weeks prior to the course start date. MH reserves the right to cancel a course if less than six delegates have signed up two weeks prior to the course start date.
