Saturn is a Giant Gas Planet. Earth is the 3rd planet in our Solar System. It is a terrestrial planet. We live on earth. It has land and water and an atmosphere. Earth is has a moderate temperature it is neither to hot or too cold. Its orbit takes one year to complete. The Earth rotates on its axis in a wobble. This is the cause of our seasons. Mars is the 4th Planet. It is a terrestrial planet. It is called the Red Planet. That is because it has Iron on its surface, this causes the planet to reflect red in the nights sky. Mars can be very cold. Ice forms at its poles. A space probe has been to Mars and has taken pictures of the surface. Jupiter is the 5th Planet. It is a Giant Gas Planet. Jupiter is the largest planet in the Solar System. It is made up of hydrogen and helium. These gasses swirl around the planet in great storms.
