Elecon design & manufactures a wide range of worm, parallel shaft and right angle shaft helical and spiral bevel helical gears with horizontal and vertical output shafts in various sizes, from single to quadruple stage reduction. These gears are compact and light, Saving space, reducing foundation structure costs and lubricating oil consumption. Deploying modern technology - CAD / CAM in Engineering and Manufacturing on a continuous basis is the selling point of the company. ELECON's complete machinery is computer numeric controlled (CNC) ensuring high degree of precision in Manufacture, design and quality testing of gear components to DIN / AGMA international specifications. ELECON SCREW PRESS AND KERNEL EXPELLER GEAR UNITS Elecon modular gear units are the result of decades of experience in design and production, taking advantage of most recent relevant research in the field of gearing technology. This range offers Gear sizes, transmission ratios and main dimensions according to standard series of numbers, economic mass production, comprehensive maintenance of stocks, favorable delivery periods, easy servicing, low weight, compact design with high efficiency due to case-hardened steels of the highest strength, amply dimensioned bearings, very smooth running with low noise due to ground helical gears and lapped high precision spiral bevel gears, housing of vibrationdamping design of grey cast iron, the use of the most up-to-date machining equipment with constant production control by means of the most recent measuring machines. The housing can be made of modular cast iron or of fabricated steel. Additional heating cartridges can be built into the housings. Special seals may be provided when the plant has to be set up in dusty or humid surroundings. EPEP-SERIES ELECON EP- SERIES DIGESTER GEAR UNITS Elecon EP-Series is a new developed gear programe. It is a intelligent gear concept because it answers the purpose with fewer but more versatile parts (high degree of standardisation and the use of common parts size to size gears optimum availability and short delivery times). The sizes EP-Series offers, encompass smaller ranges and also the permissible torque with increasing size are in smaller bands. This range offers more advantages including more variable and universal possible applications, greater standardisation of the series (mass production from a construction kit), high reliability and faster delivery time. These helical gears are case hardened (in our own hardening bay), ground and operate with much reduced noise levels. Spiral bevel gears ( cyclo-palloid tooth form) are hardened and lapped or ground. Elecon EP-Series gears offer a one piece casing for greater rigidity, high thrust loads possible and minimum volume as there are no parting lines. There are improved noise conditions owing to hard cut bevel teeth and noise absorbing housing. We also offer an oil tank with our ELECON EP-SERIES DIGESTER GEAR UNITS resulting in lubrication of top bearings and components in U3 (output shaft downward) mounting position. WORM DIGESTER GEAR UNITS SUPER NU series is one step ahead in WORM GEAR TECHNOLOGY. A combination of present-day concepts, analytical calculations with the help of CAD (Computer Aided Design) carried out on single part use of very latest CNC machine tools plus systematic checks on materials and workmanship, give this series of gearboxes a marked degree of reliability. Single piece universal casing having flanges top and bottom side and also provision for a supporting flange make it possible to have the universal mounting positions for gearboxes such as underdriven, overdriven and vertical. The internal components are, therefore, interchangeable for all the mounting positions. Quick change of mounting positions from underdriven to overdriven and vice merely by putting the unit upside down and replacing the positions of drain plug, breather plug and oil level indicator. Comprehensive maintenance of stock and faster delivery can be achieved due to adoption of interchangeable principle. Robust compact and streamlined design with ample thermal capacities.
