2. Source : Student Book : Mathematics For Junior High School Grade, and worksheet VII. Activity Introduction ( 10 minutes) Phases Activity Greetings 1. Teacher tells to the students that we will learn about linear equation system with two variables today. 2. Apperception: question : a. Do you still remember about linear equation with one variable? Ok i will check it! Could I. Orientate student to the issue you please make the word problem of 10 mathematical sentence below! tT E u L s{ b. Would you mind drawing the graph of that line equation above? Tell your friend how you will do it? Those questions above have purpose for checking the actual ability of student and prepare the students to become ready with next information. 1. Motivation: Yesterday I went to one of mall in Surabaya with and brother. We my mother Student are asked the following Time Allocation

decided to have some dinner in food court of that mall. My mother bought herself and me two burgers and two cola. She said that she had to pay 35000 rupiahs whereas my brother bought himself the same burger and the same cola. He bought two burgers and one cola and spent 27.500 rupiahs. Now IP wondering how much each burger and each cola? I want to buy some for people in my grandmaV KRPH. For preparing right amount of money I need to know how much each burger and each cola. This situation can be solved by using mathematic. And now we will learn about it. So please give your attention to my explanation.

Main ( 60 minutes) Phases Activity Time allocation

1. Students are explained by teacher that today they will involve in Problem based instruction model. Teacher also emphasizes that all of student must give the response during the learning process II. Organize students learn to because the activeness will be the score of learning process. 15 2. Students are divided into several group. Every group consist of maximum three students. 3. And then students are learning process. asked to prepare

themselves to be ready of getting involve in

4. Teacher pose the main problem Mr. Anton has a field with its length 8 meters longer than its width. If the perimeter of Mr.AntonV ILHOG LV 244 m , determine: a. Mathematical model of that problem b. If that field will be sold by 100.000 for every square meter, how much the selling price of mr.antonV ILHOG? 5. Students are given the time to think about the problem, and then students are asked what they will do first with this problem?(group work hasnW started yet). 1. SLQFH VWXGHQWV KaYHQW JRWWHQ WKH LGHa RI solving problem like above, then teacher give some worksheet to all of groups. In this worksheet there is problem related to main problem before but more simple than before. The purpose of giving this worksheet is to III. Doing the open the knowledge about how to solve the 25 problem by using worksheet. 2. Students are given the time for doing the worksheet. 3. During the work of student in doing the worksheet, teacher goes around the student to check the accountability of every student and also give help if its needed by the students. 1. Students are asked to present their work in front of the class. In this phase, teacher just ask for 5 maximum two groups to present in front of the class, and the others will have some discussion

discussion

with the groups in front of the class. 2. IV. Guide the investigation of individual and group b. Students are asked several questions by teacher. The questions as follow: a. Which one the method do you like most? Give the reason? Back to main problem, I ask to all of group to solve this problem with any method do you like, and the true answer of this problem will have 10 points and it wil be added in your group score. I give you 5 minutes to answer it! 3. Every group are asked to submit their answer of the problem. 4. Teacher will give the announcement of their score tomorrow. 5. Students are asked whether they have some difficulties or not. If they have understood about all of that, then teacher asked student to come back to their own seat before.

Closing ( 25 minutes) Phases V. Analyze and evaluate the problem solving process Activity Time allocation

1. Teacher ask student to conclude what they have learned today. 2. Teacher give small quiz 3. Students are asked to learn about the 5 next material about phytagorean theorem. 2

VIII.

Assessment The Assessment will be conducted by using instrument quiz. And the score will be the accumulation of group work and individual work.
