Kidnapped Cast

Cassie: Played by Tessa Poutiainen, wearing pale blue jeans with a white polo shirt with an iris brooch pinned to the collar. Her brown hair is let out in her casual waves. She loves her family and friends more than anything in the world. She is caring and is nice to people who dont ever get understood. She understands people in a way that other people dont. Jordan: Elida Unneberg, Torn jeans with a green tank top and her blonde hair tied back into a pony tail. She is a caring person and very curious. She could be a little too curious sometimes and would be known as nosy. But when it comes to helping friends she is glad to help and never breaks the promises. Annie (the ghost): Erika Obata, a dark blue dress ankle length and buttons pinned to the neck with puffy sleeves that goes to the elbows and tight sleeves that goes from the elbow to the wrist. Her hair is curly black that is tied into a pony tail. She is a lonely ghost who is full of sadness from her past life. But when it comes to making new friends she is willing to do anything to be a good one. She could only contact humans who are born the same day as her and are as old as her when she died so she is pretty lonely. Ben: Ping Ping Kitsiriboon, black shorts with a black polo shirt. His hair is let loose to his neck (long black hair). Ben is a curious boy he likes to wander around and still doesnt know anything about the rights and wrongs. He has a strong imagination Mom: Sila Puhl, wearing Capri white pants with a blue blouse her dark brown hair in a bun. She loves her family but does not take nave thoughts from her daughter. She loves art and is a great artist. Dad: Tow Mokaramanee, wearing khaki men Capri shorts with a white V-neck t-shirt. Kind and loves his family. Only looks forward for the future and easily forgets the past. He gets mad easily if his children dont listen to him even if he knows the children are right and that he should listen. He thinks Ben talks a lot of nonsense. Miss Mossman: Aylie Fucella, long slacks with a white blouse. Her blonde and white hair cut short into a grandma style. She believes in what her nieces say and what Cassie says. She believes in ghosts and spirits out of experience. Jason Campbell: Mihir Patel, Wearing a V-neck t-shirt underneath his black leather jacket and torn up jeans. He had a gun belt hanging loose from his side. He is mean and selfish. He doesnt care about anybody else but himself. He could hurt anyone anytime and wont care about it at all. Scenes Presentation This is in the day so there is a lot of sun light shining into the house most of the time so the lighting shouldnt be spotlighted but shined on all of the props and people. Scene 1:

A background of a hall way in the background with stairs at the left side of the stage (so it is a sideways hallway the audience sees one wall) (Walk of the stage and when the scene changes they walk onto the stage and find themselves in an attic) After they walk to go up the stairs they walk out of the stage and the scene changes into an attic room they walk onto the stage on the right side and pull a door since it is connected to the main attic room. But then at the far side of the attic room there is a small wall separating one part of the attic to another small circular room with mosaic tiled windows that allows the light to shine into the room creating miniature rainbows dancing as if they were alive. (This is a special scene because the floor would be made of wood panels that are all stuck together but one that is hiding the letter that they would find. When they hear the scream and say ben they run out of the stage on the right side and appear on the left side of the stage after the screen change to the hallway again. A great lawn with the house in the background (a cream colored house with a circular kind of decked room in the middle with two parts of the house sticking out of the left and right side, and there are also a lot of windows and trees (neatly trimmed). The Stage floor is covered with plants and rocks with a grassy floor (fake grass).

Scene 2: A hill with a small stream running cutting across the stage and so was the hill until the right side of the stage there was a dugout hut in the hill next to the river. There are many bushes and rocks around the place (the hill was supportable so people could walk on it). On the hills there are bushes and trees above the dugout is a small entrance into the forest. The dugout is a small type of hut that is built in the hill with a withered brown front with a metal door that looked like it was loose on the hinges. The dug out is a little bit further from the ground so if you dropped from the hill above the dugout into the stream you would defiantly break something but not die. The stream is made of real running water in a transparent tube that ran from the left side of the stage to the right. Props and extra things Scene 1 A wooden floor that is able to move on the stage. On that wooden floor has a loose plank that Cassie has to pull. An Envelope with a letter inside that is written to Annie. The Attic room has some old boxes with toys and things inside.

The phone that Cassies mother uses to call the sheriff. Scene 2 A rock A gun Bushes for Cassie, Jordan and Annie to hide in.

Script
Part 1 Two girls are standing in the hallway of a very big house. Jordan: I think that we should go check the attic. I have a feeling that we might find something there since we need to find the letter today or else Campbells going to do something really bad!!! Cassie: yeah I guess that we should. The two girls start to walk down the hallway towards a couple of stairs. Then Cassie shivers and looks up. Annie: I want to go help you find the letter to! Jordan: ohhh is Annie talking to you? Is she here? Cassie: yes she is, and Annie I think you should go since you know better about this house that any of us. Annie: oh thank you! Cassie: lets go before Campbell does anything worse. The girls go up the stairs (Annie floats) to an attic door. Jordon reaches out her hand and opens the door slowly. She peers in and starts to walk into the attic. Jordan: Cassie I have a feeling that we wouldnt be finding anything in here.. Its nothing but floors, walls and a ceiling. Annie: we have to try! Jordan: did Annie just say anything? Cassie: yeah she did, she said that we still have to try. The two girls start looking in every corner and hiding spot in the attic room, while Annie floats through the walls and panels. Jordan: Cassie!!! Look at this! Cassie: what is it?

Annie floats into the room and goes to where Jordan and Cassie are. Annie: it seems like a small door to me. Cassie: do you know about this Annie? Annie: I dont remember having any hidden doors in our attic. Jordan: should we see whats inside? Annie: is it locked Cassie: is it locked Jordan? Jordan: let me see Jordan turns the door knob and finds that the door leads to a circular room with mosaic tiled windows that allows the light to shine into the room creating miniature rainbows dancing as if they were alive. Cassie: wow.. Annie? Do you know about this? Annie: I used to play here with my mother when my dad was a bit mad and grumpy but other than that I never came up here and especially since she died. My father never let me come up here at all. Jordan: theres not much to look around here Ill go back to look at the attics main room Cassie: yeah sure I just think that Ill look around here first, you know if anything is hidden. Cassie takes a look around and sees a loose floor board. Cassie: Annie? Annie floats towards Cassie, as Cassie pulls the floor board Jordan crawls into the small room and the floor board finally came apart. Cassie: OH! Jordan: I cant believe it! I really cant believe it! Annie: oh is it my letter is it? Cassie: I have a feeling it is. They all smile but suddenly Cassie hears her mother shouting her name in a very, very desperate voice. Mother: Cassie!! Cassie!! Come down here!! The girls run down stairs and through the hall onto the front lawn where Cassies parents are looking around the bushes and calling out.

Mother: Ben? Ben! Ben? Where are you?? Cassie runs to her mother. Cassie: what is it mom? Her mother turns to her with frightened eyes Mother: Bens gone. He was out there in the yard while your dad was painting the window frames. He was playing games in the bushes. You know, his imagination games, with a fort under those lilacs over there. The mother points to a few bushes Mother: The next thing we knew, he was gone. He doesnt answer when we call. He should know better than to wander off again! Cassie hugged her mother tightly and trying not to help crying herself due to what she knew. Cassie: Mom, that man I told you about. Hes dangerous. His name is Jason Campbell. I met him out here the day Kevin and Jordan took me rock hunting. He believes in the Gwynne treasure and he wants it. He sent me emails that he was desperate and today was the deadline. He threatened Ben and Miss. Mossman, and now hes kidnapped them. We have to find them before its too late!! Mother: Cassie this isnt your imagination, is it? How did you learn all of this? Everyone was looking at Cassie and Mother Cassie: Mom, Annie has already protected me and Ben from him more than once. Hes been watching him and told me his name. Youve got to believe me. Mother: Annie? And who is this Annie girl? Cassie: Annie Gwynne, the girl who died here, the one whose father built this house. Mother: Oh, Cassie!! Dont tell me any more of these foolish stories about ghosts. This is no time for jokes!! Cassie: But mom! Shes here youve got to believe me!! Her mother closed her eyes and took a deep breath and let it out slowly, her mouth tight with disapproval. Mother: You and Jordan get out and look for your brother right now! Ill deal with you later. Dads already gone up the path toward the spring. Im calling the sheriff. Cassie: tell them about Campbell mom! Hes real! Cassie crawled under the tangle of lilac bushes. Bens toys were scattered on the floor. Jordan crawled in beside her and gave Cassie a hug. Cassie started to go forward too go out the other way and find a trail, and Jordan followed.

Cassie: you sure youre coming Jordan? It could be really dangerous! Jordan: Im coming I said I would help Both of them crawled out of the stage as the mother walks off the stage talking on the phone. And the lights dim and go out. Part 2 The scene comes out as a small hill with a small stream running through the middle, and Cassie was walking over the stream on the hill and Annie was down next to the stream. Cassie looked down and say Annie and she saw that she was putting her finger to her lips (be quite) and then pointing to the right. Cassie stood there confused then she slide down next to Annie with Jordan following right behind. Then Cassie looked towards where Annie was pointing and she saw it a dugout. There was a door in the hillside. Beyond it, half-hidden in a clump of brush was a battered pickup truck. Cassie looked at Annie who nodded. Cassie pointed back along the path the way they came. Cassie: Lets meet back there (whispers) The three of them found a hiding spot behind some bushes Annie: He has Ben! I heard something from the tower room, so I went out. I followed them. He has a gun. Cassie: Jordan, go back and get help. Tell them where to come. Jordan: But Cassie, you cant stay here alone. Its too dangerous. What are you going to do? Cassie: Im not alone. Annie is with me. Campbell cant hurt her! Jordan: But he could hurt you. And Ben! Cassie: I know. But someone has to watch and see what happens. What if he gets away? What if he hurts them or takes them somewhere? Jordan: Okay Cassie. Just be safe, all right? Jordan then started back along the path and off the stage. Cassie: Annie, we have to find some way to catch him. Cassie put her hand in her pocket and pulled out the letter. Cassie: Annie, I found this in the attic just as you left and I heard my mother calling for Ben. It might be your letter. Annie ran her hands gently over the envelope but did not attempt to take it. She faced Cassie with tears in her eyes. She took Cassies hands, lightly, softly. Annie: Use it to lure him out. GO up on the hill above the dugout and tell him you have it, that you will give it to him if he lets them go.

Cassie: But what is he just comes after me with the gun and takes it? Annie: I wont let him. Stay down where he cant see you so he wont have a chance to aim The two girls looked at each other Cassie: You dont think we should wait for Jordan to bring help? Annie: NO. Hes planning something. I dont know what it is, but we cant wait. Cassie took a deep breath and put the letter back into her pocket. Cassie: no matter what happens, thank you Annie. Cassie started to go up and over the hill, and keeping herself low and out of sight. Cassie looked at Annie who signaled her telling her that she was above the dugout, Cassie shouted. Cassie: Mr. Campbell. I found the letter. My parents dont know about it yet. You can have it, but you have to let Ben and Miss. Mossman go free first!! There was silence so then Annie picked up a rock and threw it down the hill. She looked around for Annie but she was nowhere to be seen. Cassie lay flat on her stomach. Cassie: Mr. Campbell, Youll never find the treasure without the letter! Still silence Cassie: BEN!! Are you there?? There was a faint sound. Campbell slowly opened the door of his dugout and went around the hill behind Cassie so she wouldnt see him then he came up the side of the hill and Cassie didnt see him yet once Campbell saw her he pointed his gun at her Cassie: Mr. Campbell, where are you? Ill give you the letter, but you have to let my brother go first! He was almost on top of her! Campbell: Fat chance! He stuffed the gun into his belt and reached down to grab her. At the same time there is a gust of wind hitting Campbell square in the back and he fell of the face of the small cliff into the ravine and the lights snapped of.
