The key purpose of the role is to manage the Alcatel-Lucent Transmission Network supporting Circle Team, to deliver efficient service support for the Airtel network. This includes overall responsibility of the performance of all of the Transport Network, Preventive actions after analysis, Competence Development of Transmission team. The role reports to National O&M Head and requires building/maintaining business relationships within the wider Alcatel-Lucent organisation as well as with the customer and suppliers. In addition there is a requirement to understand all domains within the NOC and take part in an on-call roster to provide out of hours support.

The primary accountabilities include the day to day management of a team to ensure timely and accurate: Transport Performance Improvement /Sustainability Voice & data Network Availability Improvement as per Contractual Agreement. Team objectives and management Skills assessment and Organising Training Programme Incident resolution Ensure teams follow the operational Processes Drive the team to deliver against strict SLAs and KPIs Review all SLA failures, incident reports and ensure all RCA & follow up actions have been completed. Failure rate analysis of Transport Equipments-Vendors & the preventive actions in discussion with Class A vendor. Reduction in no of Critical incidences by taking preventive measures. Review with Class A vendors for the Critical/Major incidences. Spare management Continual Service Improvement
