Dear People, Jesus is risen! Blessings! But if Jesus didnt rise from the dead, were wasting the precious little time we have: eat, drink, be merry, for tomorrow we die and theres nothing more. But if Jesus did rise from the dead, its something that no one else has ever done, and Gods Word declares that Jesus was designated the Son of God in power by His resurrection (Rom.1: 4). If Jesus rose from the dead, then were not merely dealing with an event, but confronted by a person who is in your face because He is alive. You can choose Him or reject Him. Those are the optionsthe only ones. That is why ignoring Him or sidelining Him are also rejection of Him as the One Who is present in your life. For the last month weve been announcing that there is a check-in time for our services. Did you know that check-in time is straight from the Bible? It was Jesus who told the parable of 5 foolish young women who were late getting to a wedding and found no welcome. Their pleas to be excused were inadmissible. It was all because they had missed the check-in time. Look at it from another angle. At a church service who do you think is the host? A pastor is only the caretaker. God is not one of the attendees. It is to address God that we attend. It is to hear what He has to say that we attend. Its obvious that God is the Host. It is a sign of disrespect to the host to arrive late. Shouldnt God be respected? You decide. Vote with your feet. In Christs love, Kuru

Arman is battling bronchitis. Raj Upadhyays father has been in hospital due to a stroke. Greg Poklackis father finished undergoing radiation for cancer. Pushpa Singhs husband doing poorly with chemotherapy. Della Singh had surgery to remove a lump and shes in the clear. Sam Revis and family bereaved by the death of a sister-in-law. Whitsy Johnson had some complications with her pregnancy but is alright now. At home with her parents. Kanak Parshuram has university exams. Fizza has university exams in Delhi. Jerusha Antin, Jillian Gardner finished ICSE board exams and Suseelas Bima ISC. Bima has to get into college now. Bunny Phillips is looking for job openings in NGOs. Malathi, Dinesh & two sons (Alipur Village Church) incurred a loss of approximately 1 lakh when their home was burgled. Roshini and Pastor Kuru leave for Bangalore on 28th to attend Roshinis nieces wedding, go to Madras on May 1st to fly to Melbourne on the 3rd. Jessicas baby is due on May 12th. They will be in Melbourne till June 15th, when they will return to India, but go directly to Simla, where Elishba will be with her family, while she does her hospital placement. They will return to Lucknow in the first week of July. There will be another issue of Grace Times later this month detailing the pulpit calendar and pastoral arrangements for the period Pastor Kuru will be away.
