How many born again Christians present? Reason: ONE OF THE TOP PRIORITIES AND DEVICES OF THE DEVIL TO MAKE YOU LOSE SIGHT FOR YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST JESUS! The devil wants to cloud who you are Make you forget your identity as a child of God The 1st temptation of Jesus by Satan was: If thou be the Son of God (Mat.4:3-4). SATAN IS AFTER YOUR IDENTITY The devil knows that if you knew who you were in Christ: You will say to the mountain: Be thou removed (Mat.17:20) If you ask anything in His Name, He would do it (Jn.14:14) No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Is.54:17) When you go through the fire it shall not burn you (Is.43:1-2) You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day. A 1000 may fall at your side and 10,000 at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. No evil will befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. (Ps.91:1-12) These signs shall follow them that believe (Mark.16:17-18): - Cast out devils - Speak with new tongues - Take up serpents - If you drink any deadly thing it will not hurt you - You will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover! Like Peter, you would know what you have Silver and gold have I none but such as I have give I thee, in the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk! (Acts 3:6) Like David, youd say, Yea, though I WALK through the valley of the shadow of death - Not drag through like someone who is hopeless or defeated - Not run through like someone who is scared or desperate - WALK in confidence fearing no evil because you know that God is with you! - YOU WOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF THE GIANTS AND CHALLENGES THAT COME YOUR WAY IF YOU KNEW WHO YOU WERE IN CHRIST!

But the devil will TRY AND KEEP YOU PREOCCUPIED AND BUSY! With personal problems With work With even kingdom work

 IN ORDER TO SIDETRACK YOU FROM WHO YOU TRULY ARE AND TO KEEP YOU FROM REALISING YOUR FULL POTENTIAL IN TERMS OF YOUR IDENTITY IN CHRIST

TRUTH: Every born again believer is a CHILD OF THE NEW COVENANT IN CHRISTS BLOOD: In terms of this covenant you have the right to: Healing & Forgivenss (Js.5:14-16) - They always come together you pray for one you get the other one free its part of the package! - IF YOU DO NOT KNOW YOU CAN HAVE IT, YOU WILL NOT GET IT! - Faith is based on specific expectation. How can you get what you do not expect to get? Or what you do not ask for? You cannot ask for what you do not know you can have! Victory (Rom.8:37) Life of peace, joy, love, righteousness (Rom.14:17; Gal.5:22-23)

IMPORTANT QUESTION: WILL YOU WALK IN THE NEW COVENANT? WILL YOU TAKE FOR YOURSELF THE LIFE OF VICTORY THAT GOD PROMISES?

I WANT TO WHO YOU PROPHETICALLY WHERE THE CHURCH IS: Matthew 14:22-31 Jesus told Peter, Come Peter stood on the brink / threshold of a life-changing experience / opportunity Peters problem? PETER HAD TO LEAVE THE BOAT! THE CHURCHS PROBLEM: WE HAVE TO LEAVE THE LIFE WERE USED TO! Life of sickness Life of sin Life of pain Life of normal mediocre Christianity YOU CANNOT HAVE THE MIRACLE IF YOURE NOT READY TO LET GO OF WHAT YOU WERE USED TO! YOU CANNOT HAVE HEALING IF YOU STILL ATTACHED TO YOUR SICKNESS! - Some people cannot have healing because they need their disability to get a state grant so if God heals you, you dont know where you going to get an income from! - Can you handle the miracle that God will give? Can you accept the changes to your life? Perhaps even more than actually walking on water, Peters biggest struggle was leaving his friends in the boat Imagine the concerned response from the others about how dangerous it is what Peter was about to do! Imagine the barbs of those who wanted to know whether Peter thought he was more spiritual than they IF YOURE GOING TO HAVE THE MIRACLE, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO LEAVE YOUR CLIQUE BEHIND.

WHEN JESUS SAID, COME, HE GAVE PETER AN OPPORTUNITY TO ASCEND TO A HIGHER LIFE OF FAITH, POWER AND FRUIT.

BEFORE THE CHURCH NOW IS THE POSSIBILITY & OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFE WITHOUT THE ADDICTION, PAIN, SIN, DISEASE, SICKNESS, SUFFERING, A LIFE BEYOND NORMAL CHRISTIANITY.

YOU CAN WALK IN THE LIBERTY AND VICTORY OF THE NEW COVENANT, BUT YOU MUST BE WILLING TO LEAVE THE WORLD YOU KNOW BEHIND.

PROPHETIC WORD: Some of you will remain stuck in your current situation unless you accept Christs invitation Some of you, your situation will get worse unless you accept Christs invitation Some of you will miss out on a defining moment / experience in your life and ministry unless you accept Christs invitation: I believe that because Peter walked on the water that day, he was able later to heal the sick with his shadow that experience was a defining moment in Peters life and ministry.
