Compare & Contrast

The two characters I would like to compare and contrast in my book report is Michael Phelps and, his sister, Whitney Phelps. They have things in common such as: they both swim; they have the same parents, they have participated in swim competitionsThey also have lots of things they dont have in common. Whitney is a lot older than Michael; Whitney can be stubborn at times, and so on. Whitney and Michael Phelps have things in common, as they are brother and sister. They both started swimming from a young age. When Michael saw that his sisters were swimming, he started wanting swim. Although Whitney is older than Michael, Michael is better at swimming then Whitney. They both started to swim when they were young and they got better than better. Eventually their swim coaches let them participate in swim competitions. The brother and sisters excelled at swimming and they both loved the sport. Of, course they would have to have differences too. Although Whitney is older than Michael by seven years, Whitney can be stubborn. When Whitney got into swimming she thought that if she had less body fat she would be faster in the water. Whitney started to eat less and gave up sweets to get less body fat, although less body fat makes you faster in the water, eating less doesnt help, and it would only make you sick. Whitney got sick and had to see a doctor.

New Title

Michael Phelps: World Record

I think this would be a good new title because it describes the basic plot of the story. The story ultimately leads up to how he got his 8 gold medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, breaking the previous record of seven gold medals. He tells his story up until he breaks the world record. This would be a good new title
