JOSEPH P. CAMPBELL
Hurray for Hollywood, or rather Kalifwood. Plans are well on their way for the Movie Glamor themed Potentates Ball on April 21st. Lady Brandy has been hard at work to see that this will be the event of the season. Several predominant Nobles have already been filmed for the premier of Kalifwood film festival. Dont miss seeing these Nobles perform in cinematic master pieces calculated to propel them into Superstardom. If you havent returned your RSVP, please do so, seating and meals will be limited and priority will be given to those who have returned RSVP by April 13th. RSVPs can be made by sending in the card included with the Invitation, on a sign-up sheet in the Oasis or by contacting Doug in the Recorders Office (307) 674-4815. Its time to make the Shriners. Spring Ceremonial is upon us April 20th and April 21st. We are already looking to have a good size class of Novices for the Ceremonial so this is a great opportunity for any Mason who has not become a Shriner to join in being in a large class has its advantages, such as greater fraternal bonding and a lower chance of being selected the Class Clown. So Nobles look around for other good candidates for our Fraternity. The initiation fee is $185 and this includes his Fez, lunch for him and his Lady and tickets to the Potentates ball for him and his Lady. Remember that the Shrine Bowl is coming up. All Nobles should have received tickets in the mail last month. These games have been very exciting in the last couple years and I would encourage all Nobles, especially if you have never been, to make the trip to Casper on June 9th and experience the game. Im happy to announce that I have appointed Joe St. Pierre from Buffalo as Kalif s Membership Chairman. He is planning on attending the Imperial Membership Seminar in the fall. Joe has been working on a Masonic information night which we are planning on having at the Temple in June. Safe travels to you all and well see you at the Ceremonial. Yours in the Faith,

Kevin Martin Named New Administrator at Shriners Hospitals for Children Salt Lake City
SALT LAKE CITY After serving as interim administrator at Shriners Hospitals for Children Salt Lake City since August 2011, Kevin Martin was officially named hospital administrator in January. I am committed to the success of our facility and continuing the community presence that is unique to Shriners Hospitals for Children Salt Lake City, said Martin in a recent address to all hospital employees. Our priorities for this year center around securing a solid core of orthopaedic staff that will continue to keep this hospital busy, growing a donor development program, Kevin Martin working with the corporate strategic taskforce to secure the best operating model for Salt Lake City, increasing our efficiency, decreasing our draw on the endowment and becoming more proficient in the utilization of electronic medical records. Martin was born in Wichita, Kan., and grew up in Utah. He has been married for 29 years to his wife Robyn and they have three children. Martin has worked at the pediatric orthopaedic hospital in Salt Lake City for 14 years, most recently as the director of patient care services. Other work experience includes director of Home Health and Hospice for South Davis Community Hospital in Bountiful, Utah; MSO director for Riverton Memorial Hospital in Riverton, Wyoming; director of nursing at Charter Canyon Hospital in Salt Lake City; assistant director of patient care services for FHP Health Care in Salt Lake City; and work as a critical care nurse for the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. Horseshoe Pitching League

Kalif Nobles and Masonic Brothers Needed: Hoseshoe Pitching League on Wednesday Night Start at 6:00 pm. Starting the second week in May at Big Horn Mountain Eagles Aerie #4169. We will have our first meeting for anyone who wants to play on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at 6:00 pm. Please call Doug at 674-4815

At the March stated meeting we voted to put a bylaws change before the Nobility. The change will raise dues $15.00. The reason for this proposal is that in the last two years we have had to utilize reserve funds to cover budgetary short falls. The revenue generated by this dues increase will in part help us bridge our budget gap. The Divan will continue to search to find other appropriate budgetary cuts and other revenue sources. The bylaws amendment will be considered at Kalifs May 18th Stated Meeting, and a 2/3 majority of those Nobles present and voting is required to pass the amendment.

Sahida Temple No. 86

Dear Nobles! We have come to the end of our Queen Barbara Whitemans year; it is a bittersweet time for her as she reflects of her year and looks forward to the next when she acts as advisor to our new Queen Sharon. Barbara has had a successful year, and we congratulate her on her accomplishment. One of the last functions for Queen Barb was her visit to our Mystic Club No. 11 in Newcastle. The ladies to the east hosted Queen Barb, Princess Royal Sharon Brantz, Princess Tirzah Christina Haworth, Princess Nydia Peggy Biggerstaff and Princess Recorder Vesta Gale. Prior to a wonderful pot luck luncheon, the ladies visited the new Masonic Lodge. Plans for the 100th Anniversary History project are moving forward. We still invite anyone who might have Daughters of the Nile memorabilia stored away to contact Princess Christina Haworth. Perhaps your mother, sister, or wife was a member who collected Nile things; perhaps its just a story to share. Wed love to display them. On behalf of Sahida Temple No. 86, I extend to you an invitation to attend the 65th annual Open Installation of Officers when Princess Royal Sharon Brantz will be crowned Queen. The Ceremony takes place Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, 109 South Gould Street. A reception follows the installation. Wed love to see you there. Sincerely, Sharon Bedard Junior Past Queen Sahida Temple No. 86

Did you know that the Shrine offers each Noble a chance to be a life member of its hospitals? Through its permanent contributing membership program (P.C.M.) you can purchase a membership for $150.00, relieving you as a Shriner, of the annual $5.00 hospital assessment for life. This contribution is deductible as a charitable deduction now. Its an excellent way for you to support the WORLDS GREATEST PHILANTHROPY now and forever. Your membership adds to a special endowment fund which directly supports our hospitals now and also means your gift will serve for generations to come because only the income from the gift will be spent annually to help our hospitals. Each Noble contributing to the fund will receive a certificate suitable for framing and a dues card bearing a special seal indicating he is a PERMANENT CONTRIBUTING MEMBER. The permanent contributing membership can be a gift for fathers to sons sons to fathers wives to husbands units or shrine clubs to deserving Nobles.
