Hurray for Hollywood, or rather Kalifwood. Plans are well on their way for the Movie Glamor themed Potentates Ball on April 21st. Lady Brandy has been hard at work to see that this will be the event of the season. Several predominant Nobles have already been filmed for the premier of Kalifwood film festival. Dont miss seeing these Nobles perform in cinematic master pieces calculated to propel them into Superstardom. If you havent returned your RSVP, please do so, seating and meals will be limited and priority will be given to those who have returned RSVP by April 13th. RSVPs can be made by sending in the card included with the Invitation, on a sign-up sheet in the Oasis or by contacting Doug in the Recorders Office (307) 674-4815. Its time to make the Shriners. Spring Ceremonial is upon us April 20th and April 21st. We are already looking to have a good size class of Novices for the Ceremonial so this is a great opportunity for any Mason who has not become a Shriner to join in being in a large class has its advantages, such as greater fraternal bonding and a lower chance of being selected the Class Clown. So Nobles look around for other good candidates for our Fraternity. The initiation fee is $185 and this includes his Fez, lunch for him and his Lady and tickets to the Potentates ball for him and his Lady. Remember that the Shrine Bowl is coming up. All Nobles should have received tickets in the mail last month. These games have been very exciting in the last couple years and I would encourage all Nobles, especially if you have never been, to make the trip to Casper on June 9th and experience the game. Im happy to announce that I have appointed Joe St. Pierre from Buffalo as Kalif s Membership Chairman. He is planning on attending the Imperial Membership Seminar in the fall. Joe has been working on a Masonic information night which we are planning on having at the Temple in June. Safe travels to you all and well see you at the Ceremonial. Yours in the Faith,

At the March stated meeting we voted to put a bylaws change before the Nobility. The change will raise dues $15.00. The reason for this proposal is that in the last two years we have had to utilize reserve funds to cover budgetary short falls. The revenue generated by this dues increase will in part help us bridge our budget gap. The Divan will continue to search to find other appropriate budgetary cuts and other revenue sources. The bylaws amendment will be considered at Kalifs May 18th Stated Meeting, and a 2/3 majority of those Nobles present and voting is required to pass the amendment.
