Scenic Services Coordinator Job Description Do you like working with customers in a fast pace environment?

If you answered YES, yes I am! to the above questions, here is what Freeman is looking for: The Scenic Services Coordinator will work in conjunctions with the Scenic Services Manager to ensure efficiency, cost control, and the seamless flow of information throughout the Scenic department. Responsible for planning, assigning and coordinating all scenic production activities from creation to installation and transition into rental inventory. Other responsibilities will include:

Participate in the coordination and creation of accurate and timely estimates, requisitions, documentation and drawings on all scenic production work Determine staffing needs and ensure that all labor requirements are submitted to the proper departments and or labor sources Ensure established budgets and schedules are being adhered to Ensure quality and safety standards are maintained Attend weekly production meeting. Provide status updates on shop projects Develop and maintain quality control guidelines and procedures for all scenic projects Manage on-site installation as required by the size and complexity of an event Develop and maintain scenic production schedules Assist all departments with scenic/carpentry requirements as needed Assist in the scheduling and coordination of trucking arrangements Schedule and conduct pre-conference meetings Ensure shop equipment is maintained and in a safe working order Maintain accurate inventories on equipment and supplies Develop and maintain a periodic maintenance schedule for all equipment Assist with capital expenditure development and purchasing

Now that you know what this position does, do you have the background to do the job? Required Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent; two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret CAD/Architectural drawings and renderings. ACad or Vectorworks skills preferred Excellent organizational skills

Must be detail oriented Must be able to work in a team environment while being an independent thinker Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; Working knowledge of Adobe Suite Experience in a carpentry shop preferred
