Diego inizia i suoi studi di chitarra ad 8 anni, impara velocemente gli aspetti tecnici dello strumento e mostra un dono naturale con il suo tocco, espressione e esecuzione. A partire dallet di 13 anni studia la chitarra elettrica moderna con il grande chitarrista Massimo Arminchiardi che lo introduce ad un livello professionale di studi musicali che comprende aspetti avanzati di musica su chitarra moderna. Due anni dopo Diego comincia ad auto produrre e pubblicare la sua musica su internet. Inizia a studiare con Tony De Gruttola, docente del Centro Professione Musica e co-direttore dell Accademia Lizard - Sezione Piemonte. Diego apprende velocemente le tecniche di improvvisazione e ritmica attraverso i generi blues, rock, metal e funk. Diego frequenta il D.A.M.S. allUniversit di Torino e lAccademia Lizard dove ha superato brillantemente il IV ed ultimo livello prima del diploma, con un approfondimento sulla composizione musicale e rappresenta lAccademia Lizard fondata da Giovanni Unterbergher in molte citt del nord Italia per promuovere la scuola insieme agli insegnanti

el mese di Gennaio 2006, a soli 15 anni, Diego ha superato una selezione nazionale che lo ha portato a suonare in diretta televisiva nel programma Domenica In - Ieri, oggi e domani su RAI 1 condotto da Pippo Baudo e diretto dal Maestro Pippo Caruso. Diego stato giudicato dalla giuria composta da Dody Battaglia, Enrico Ciacci ed Alberto Radius ed entrato a pieno titolo nella neonata Orchestra del domani della RAI, per lo strumento chitarra elettrica, insieme ad altri 11 strumentisti selezionati da tutta Italia. Diego viene scelto quale chitarrista stabile per il programma Melevisione in onda su RAI3, ma costretto a lasciare lincarico per motivi di studio, al quinto anno del Liceo. el mese di Giugno 2010 Diego vince il I concorso nazionale per chitarra elettrica e acustica a Parma; il suo brano Thinking of Chopin. Grazie a questo concorso, Diego ha avuto lopportunit di suonare sul palco di S.Bonifacio (VR) a fine settembre, davanti ad un pubblico di circa 1000 persone, con alcuni tra i pi grandi chitarristi italiani, tra i quali Mario Schilir e Ricky Portera.
