About this ebook
"Goblin Market" was written in 1862 by Christina Rossetti. Now Leigh Wilder takes the suggestive imagery in this classic poem and builds on it. Eliza and Laura swear never to be parted by man or beast, but when Laura is tempted by the forbidden fruit of the goblin market, Eliza must go to great lengths to bring her back from the brink of death. Contains erotic lesbian content.
Also included is the original poem and author's notes.

Eliza and Laura were born on the same day in the same household. While Eliza’s mother labored on fine linen sheets and a feather bed, Laura’s mother made do with a straw tick on the floor of the servant’s quarters, with no midwife or nursemaid other than the scullery maid. Eliza’s mother did not survive, but Laura’s did.
Not long after Eliza’s birth her father, distraught with grief, fell to ruin, and within two years’ time he lost his health and then his fine manor house. The poor man took his own life, and the little toddler Eliza was left alone.
