CIMB BANK DEBIT MASTERCARD REWARDS CATALOGUE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS

1.Definitions
1.1. Bank means CMB Bank Berhad (13491-P).
1.2. Debit Card means the CMB Bank Debit MasterCard and any replacement or renewal
thereof which is issued by the Bank.
1.3. "Cardholder(s)" means a customer of the Bank to whom the Debit Card has been issued.
1.4. Designated Account means the account designated by the Cardholder (which has
been approved by the Bank) for the time being for the purpose of carrying out debit
transactions through the use of the Debit Card.
1.5. Gift(s) means the rewards provided under the Rewards Programme which includes
goods, merchandise, vouchers, products, services, travel packages and/ or any other
privileges contained in this Rewards Programme.
1.6. Merchant is an individual, firm or company engaged in the business of selling and
providing Gift(s) featured in this Rewards Programme
1.7. Rewards Programme means the reward programme under the Debit Card Rewards
Catalogue (Rewards Catalogue) designed by the Bank for Debit Card cardholders.
1.8. Debit Card Bonus Points means the points awarded to the Cardholders for retail
purchases or transactions charged to the Card in accordance with any provisions herein.

2. EIigibiIity
2.1. All Cardholders under the Debit Card Bonus Points scheme are eligible to participate in
this Rewards Programme.
2.2. By participating in this Rewards Programme, the Cardholders are deemed to have read,
understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2.3. n order to be eligible to earn or redeem Debit Card Bonus Points, the Cardholders'
Designated Account linked to the Debit Card must be valid and in good standing and not
overdrawn if the Cardholder has an overdraft facility. Cardholder whose account(s) in
the opinion of the Bank has been opened fraudulently shall not be eligible to participate
in this Rewards Programme and the Bank reserves the absolute right to decline any
redemption of Debit Card Bonus Points if the Cardholder's Designated Account is
cancelled or terminated by the Bank.
2.4. Cardholders are to ensure that the signature on the gift redemption form is
similar/matches the signature endorsed on their account opening application form.


3. Debit Card Bonus Points Earned
3.1. The Cardholders will earn one (1) Debit Card Bonus Point for every RM2.00 (rounded
down) amount of local and international retail purchases utilizing the Debit Card. The
Debit Card Bonus Points earned in respect of retail purchases transacted outside
Malaysia will be calculated based on the RM equivalent of the transacted sum which will
be converted at the prevailing exchange rate determined by the Bank at its absolute
discretion.
3.2. The Debit Card Bonus Points scheme is earned and accumulated on a per card basis.
For the avoidance of doubt, Debit Card Bonus Points earned may not be combined
between two different Debit Cards held by different Cardholders although they may have
been tagged to the same Designated Account.
3.3. The following transactions shall not earn Debit Card Bonus Points :-
a. Cash withdrawal or cash deposits;
b. Retail transactions in respect of purchases of petrol, diesel and any other
purchases made at the petrol kiosks;
c. Payment of the annual fees or service charges, delivery charges, cash payments,
card replacement fee, dispute charges, fraud charges or any other fees, charges or
penalties whether imposed by the Bank or otherwise.
3.4. The awarding of one (1) Debit Card Bonus Point for every RM2.00 may be subject to
change from time to time as determined by the Bank upon adequate notice to the
Cardholders.
3.5. Debit Card Bonus Points earned and accumulated can be viewed online by the
Cardholder at www.cimbclicks.com.my or can be ascertained from the Bank's Call
Centre by calling1300 880 900 or 603-22956100.
3.6. Debit Card Bonus Points earned do not have any cash or monetary value and are not
convertible to cash. Accrued Debit Card Bonus Points are not convertible to cash
unless expressly stated otherwise.
3.7. Debit Card Bonus Points earned are not transferable to any third party.
3.8. Debit Card Bonus Points earned in relation to a particular transaction may be withdrawn
in the event of any Debit Card transaction disputes with the Merchant in respect of that
transaction.


4. VaIidity of Debit Card Bonus Points
4.1. Debit Card Bonus Points earned in a particular calendar quarter are valid for up to three
(3) calendar years and shall expire on the first (1
st
) day of the following calendar quarter.
For example, Debit Card Bonus Points earned between 1 January 2011 and 31 March
2011 will expire by 1 April 2014.
4.2. Unless utilized earlier, Debit Card Bonus Points earned and accumulated must be
redeemed prior to the expiry date. All unused or unredeemed Debit Card Bonus Points
will be automatically forfeited after the applicable expiry date without notification to the
Cardholders. Cardholders cannot carry forward any unused points earned and / or
accumulated points once the Debit Card Bonus Points have expired. Any requests by
Cardholders to utilise the unused points after the expiry date shall be not be entertained
by the Bank and the Bank shall have no obligation to reinstate the expired or forfeited
points.
4.3 Notwithstanding the provisions of Clause 4.1 above, should the Debit Card be cancelled,
the Debit Card Bonus Points earned and accumulated shall be forfeited and the Bank
has no obligation to reinstate the points.
4.4 The Bank reserves the right to alter the validity period of Debit Card Bonus Points and
will give the Cardholders adequate notice of any such change. n such an event, the
Cardholders will be given a grace period to utilize or redeem the Debit Card Bonus
Points. The change will take effect from the date stated in such notice.


5. Gift(s) Redemption
5.1. All redemption of the Debit Card Bonus Points must use the redemption form, attached
to this Rewards Catalogue and which must be duly completed and signed by the
Cardholders and sent to the Bank either via fax or mailing back to the Bank. Alternatively
Cardholders may call to redeem through the Redemption Hotline as stated in the
redemption form. The Cardholders agree that proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
The Cardholders further acknowledge that it is their duty and obligation to ensure that
any redemption submitted is duly received by the Bank for processing. The Bank shall
not be responsible of any delay or failure of delivery of any Gift(s) arising from the non
receipt of the redemption form.
5.2. All redemption of Debit Card Bonus Points (including a request to transfer Debit Card
Bonus Points to the designated Cardholder's CMB Bank/Direct Access credit card
account) are subject to the Cardholder's Debit Card being valid and the Designated
Account being in good standing i.e. not closed, suspended or terminated by the Bank at
the time the redemption request is made.
5.3. Redemption of Debit Card Bonus Points is based on a per card basis. Any requests to
combine Debit Card Bonus Points earned between (2) two or more Debit Cards of
different Cardholders will not be entertained.
5.4. Subject to clause 5.2, all redemptions are also subject to the accumulation of sufficient
Debit Card Bonus Points and the Bank's final acceptance. Redemption request with
insufficient Debit Card Bonus Points shall be cancelled automatically by the Bank
without further reference to the Cardholder.
5.5. All Gifts featured in the catalogue are subject to the following:-
a. Product/service availability;
b. Cardholder's available Debit Card Bonus Points;
c. Cardholder's Debit Card and Designated Account status;
d. Final acceptance by the Bank; and
e. Any restrictions that may apply as to where and when the Gift(s) can be redeemed.
5.6. Cardholders may utilise their accumulated Debit Card Bonus Points to qualify for any
one or more of the following options: -
a. Featured product/service redemption; or
b. Transferring and converting of Debit Card Bonus Points to the designated
Cardholder's CMB Bank / Direct Access credit card account.
5.7. The Bank hereby expressly disclaims all and any liability to the Cardholder in respect of
any redemption of goods, products or services under this Rewards Programme.
5.8. Debit Card Bonus Points, which have been used to redeem any Gift(s), shall be deemed
as extinguished. Request by Cardholders for any change to or cancellation of a
redemption, which has accepted by the Bank, will not be entertained. Gift(s) redeemed
cannot be returned or exchanged. Provided always that the Bank shall have the
absolute right to refuse any request for the redemption of any type of Gift(s) which are
no longer available. The Bank shall in its absolute discretion be entitled to substitute or
remove any product and/or service from the Rewards Programme.
5.9. The Bank hereby expressly excludes, does not make and disclaims any representation,
warranty or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral in respect of any of the
Gifts featured. n particular, the Bank does not warrant that any of the Gifts provided
herein is of merchantable quality and/or fit for the particular purpose. The Bank shall not
be held responsible in any way whatsoever for any damage or loss or accident from the
use of any of the redeemed items.
5.10. All items featured in this catalogue may differ from the actual goods or products in terms
of color or design details. The Bank shall not be liable nor responsible in any way
whatsoever to the Cardholders resulting from such discrepancies.
5.11. n the event that the Cardholder's choice of Gift(s) is/are unavailable, the Bank reserves
the right upon giving adequate notice to substitute it with other item(s) of similar value.
The Bank reserves the right, without giving any prior notice nor assigning any reason
whatsoever to the Cardholders, to discontinue and/or replace all or any of the products
and services provided herein.
5.12. The Bank shall not be liable for or obliged to recognise or replace any defective, lost,
damaged or stolen Gift(s) and Gift(s) accepted in good condition are strictly non-
returnable and non-exchangeable. n the event of Gift(s) being defective or damaged
upon delivery or for any queries relating to the warranty, Cardholders should contact the
parties whose numbers are stated on the warranty card.
5.13. Cardholders hereby give their consent to and authorize the Bank to use and/or disclose
their particulars to a third party including the participating Merchants for the purposes of
the Rewards Programme. The Bank warrants that the disclosure shall be limited to the
Cardholder's name, address and telephone number and shall be used only in relation to
and for the purposes of the Rewards Programme.
5.14. The Bank shall only be responsible for taking the redemption instructions from the
Cardholders and forwarding the same to the Merchants of the respective items. The
Bank disclaims any liability or duty in relation to the items redeemed. The item(s) is/are
sent and supplied to the Cardholders by the Merchant who is solely responsible for all
obligations and liabilities, relating to the supply and warranty of the terms and all
ancillary charges.
5.15. The Bank assume no responsibility for any physical injury, death, claims, losses, costs,
expenses, damages or embarrassment suffered by Cardholders or any other party, of
whatever nature resulting from the redemption of Gift(s) or the use of any Gift(s) offered
herein.
5.16. Any dispute concerning Gift(s) received under the Rewards Programme shall be settled
between the Cardholders and the Merchant without recourse to the Bank.
5.17. Should the utilisation of the Debit Card Bonus Points and/or the redemption of Gift result
in a tax liability to the Cardholders, the Bank shall not be responsible for paying the
same. Any taxes or charges imposed by the relevant authorities/ service establishments/
or Merchants pursuant thereto shall be borne by the Cardholders.
5.18. The Cardholders agree that any redemption of the Gift(s) that consist of vouchers issued
by the Merchant(s) cannot be encashed and are valid for use until the date specified and
shall be subject to terms and conditions contained therein as may be determined by the
Merchant(s). f they remain unused after the specified date, the vouchers will lapse and
will not be replaced. The Bank is not responsible for expired, lost or stolen vouchers or
Gift(s).
5.19. The terms and conditions specified in the vouchers are beyond the Bank's control and
determined by the Merchants. Any disputes arising under the terms and conditions of
the vouchers shall be settled directly by the Cardholders with the Merchants without
recourse to the Bank. The Bank will not be responsible in replacing or cancelling any
redemption as a result of such dispute.
5.20. n the event that the voucher takes the form of a cash voucher(s), the Cardholder can
use the Cardholder's Debit Card to pay the difference to the Merchant should the
purchase be in excess of the value stated on the cash voucher(s). There will be no
refund of the unused portion of the value of the cash voucher(s).
5.21. ssuance of dining vouchers does not constitute a reservation with the relevant Merchant.
Cardholders are responsible for making the reservations and notifying the participating
Merchant of the voucher(s) they are going to redeem. The Cardholders further agree
that the respective Merchant may impose further terms and conditions on the dining
vouchers which the Cardholders must abide with.
5.22. Gift voucher(s) of a Merchant are only valid at participating outlets listed in the
voucher(s) or the Rewards Programme.
5.23. The Bank will not replace or assist the Cardholders by placing a hold or freeze status on
any misplaced, lost or stolen Gift voucher(s) under any circumstances.
5.24. Redeemed Gift vouchers are not exchangeable for any other Gift(s), are not refundable,
not replaceable and not transferable for cash or credit under any circumstances.
5.25. All payment for courier fee shall be made and charged to the Cardholder's Designated
Account.
5.26. Cardholders acknowledge and agree that Gift(s) redeemed are on a No Trial Period
basis.


6. Points Transfer
6.1. Cardholders who are CMB Bank/Direct Access credit card members will be entitled to
transfer and convert their Debit Card Bonus Points for Bonus Points under the CMB
Bank/Direct Access credit card Bonus Points scheme.
6.2. The transfer and conversion of Debit Card Bonus Points to Bonus Points will take
approximately fourteen (14) business days from the date of the Bank's receipt of
Cardholders' redemption form. The Bank shall not revise nor cancel any successful
transfer and conversion of Debit Card Bonus Points to Bonus Points.
6.3. Bonus Points earned as a result of a transfer and conversion of Debit Card Bonus Points
can only be utilized under and pursuant to the terms and conditions of CMB Bank
Member Rewards Catalogue and CMB Bank/Direct Access credit card.
6.4. All Debit Card Bonus Points transfer request will be subject to the provisions specified in
Clauses 5.1 to 5.5.
6.5. The Bank reserves the right to change, from time to time, the Debit Card Bonus Points
conversion rate specified in the redemption form by giving the Cardholders adequate
prior notice.


7. DeIivery
7.1. Delivery of the Gift(s) shall be made to the Cardholder's address, or the address
furnished by the Cardholder in his/her redemption form.
7.2. Delivery of Gift(s) will not be made to any P.O. Box addresses, Free Trade Zone
addresses, addresses not serviced by courier providers, addresses outside Malaysia, as
well as addresses at any of the Bank's branches.
7.3. The Gift(s) will be delivered to Cardholders within fourteen (14) working days after
receipt of the Cardholders' complete redemption form(s).
7.4. Cardholders or any recipient of the Gift(s) is obliged to produce an identification
document to the delivery personnel; failing which, the delivery personnel has the right to
refuse delivery and will return the Gift(s) to the Bank as unclaimed.
7.5. Delivery will only be made against a written acknowledgement of receipt of the item and
of satisfaction with its physical condition by any occupant/recipient at the address of
delivery; and where such address is an office address, by any member/recipient at the
office. Such acknowledgement shall be deemed to be the acknowledgement by the
Cardholder(s) and the Bank assumes no responsibility thereafter.
7.6. All Gifts supplied will be covered by the manufacturer or Merchant's normal terms of
business. Except where the law provides otherwise, the Bank will not be responsible for
the quality or suitability of the Gifts or for any delay in delivery.
7.7. Cardholders shall be liable for delivery charges for each of the Gift item sent and such
charges shall be debited into the Cardholder's Designated Account accordingly. Courier
fee is applicable for deliveries to East Malaysia and Langkawi sland.
7.8. Delivery charges to Langkawi sland will be based on East Malaysia's courier rate.
7.9. For redirection of delivery addresses, a service charge of RM10.00 per item will be
debited to the Cardholder's Designated Account accordingly.

8. Others
8.1. The Gifts offered under this Debit Card Rewards Catalogue is valid from 8 November
2011 29 February 2012.
8.2. Cardholders are not allowed to collect Gifts redeemed from any of the Bank's branches.
8.3. All Gift(s) redeemed will be sent to Cardholders at their address as specified in Clause 7.
8.4. f the Gift(s) is returned undelivered to the Bank due to non-acknowledgement of receipt
by the addressee, the Bank may (but is not obliged to) re-send or redeliver the above
mentioned Gift(s) to the Cardholders provided that the cost incurred in resending the
said Gift(s) shall be borne by the Cardholders.
8.5. f the Bank attempts to re-send or redeliver the Gift(s) to the Cardholders and such
Gift(s) is again returned undelivered to the Bank after the second attempt of delivery, the
Bank shall not further attempt to send or deliver the said Gift(s).
8.6. f the Cardholder fails to provide the Bank with a valid address to accept delivery within
30 working days from the date the Gift(s) is returned undelivered to the Bank, the Gift(s)
and the Debit Card Bonus Points used to redeem the said Gift(s) shall be deemed
forfeited and the Bank shall not be obliged to reinstate such Debit Card Bonus Points to
the Cardholder.
8.7. Any accessories/props/equipments featured together with the Gift(s) in any pictorial
herein are for decorative purposes and shall not be available for redemption by
Cardholders.
8.8. Suspected or actual fraud and/or suspected or actual abuse relating to the accumulation
of Debit Card Bonus Points in the Rewards Programme, or redemption of Gift(s) may
result in forfeiture of accumulated Debit Card Bonus Points as well as cancellation of
Cardholders' participation in the Rewards Programme.
8.9. By participating in the Rewards Programme, Cardholders are deemed to have read, understood
and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions stated herein and agree that any and all
questions or issues regarding eligibility of a Cardholder for the Rewards Programme
including the determination of Debit Card Bonus Points earned or accumulated and
entitlement to redeem Gift(s) will be determined solely by the Bank and which decision
shall be final, binding and conclusive.
8.10. The Bank's failure to enforce any of the terms and conditions herein does not constitute
a waiver of the Bank's rights under these terms and conditions.
8.11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of Malaysia and the Cardholders acknowledge and agree to submit to the non-
exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia.
8.12. Unless the context otherwise requires, words and expressions respectively defined or
construed in the Terms and Conditions For Debit Card shall have the same meaning
when used or referred to in these terms and conditions and words referring to the male
gender shall include the female gender and words referring to the singular number shall
include the plural number and vice versa.
8.13. n the event of any complaints related to the Rewards Programme, Cardholders may

9. Variation of RuIes
9.1 The Bank reserves the right to suspend, cancel, terminate or withdraw this Rewards
Programme in whole or part, by giving the Cardholders adequate prior notice. For the
avoidance of doubt, suspension, cancellation, termination or withdrawal of this Rewards
Programme shall not entitle any of the Cardholders to any claim or compensation
against the Bank for any losses or damages suffered by Cardholders as a direct or
indirect result of the act of suspension, cancellation or termination.
9.2 The Bank reserves the rights upon giving adequate notice to vary (whether by addition,
deletion, modification, amendment or otherwise howsoever) (the Amendment) any of
the terms and conditions herein. Notification to Cardholders in respect of the
Amendment shall be effected at the Bank's absolute discretion through any one of the
following means of communication, namely, by ordinary mail to the Cardholder's last
known address or by posting a notice regarding the Amendment at each of the Bank's
branches or by effecting an advertisement regarding the Amendment in one newspaper
of the Bank's choice, or via the Bank's website and the Amendment shall be deemed as
binding on the Cardholders as from the date of notification of the Amendment or from
such other date as may be specified by the Bank in the notification.
9.3 These terms and conditions are in addition to the Terms and Conditions For Debit Card
applicable to the Cardholders. n the event of any inconsistency between these terms
and conditions and the the Terms and Conditions For Debit Card, these terms and
conditions shall prevail in so far as they apply for the redemption of the Debit Card
Bonus Points by Cardholders but not otherwise.












CIMB ISLAMIC DEBIT MASTERCARD REWARDS CATALOGUE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS

1.Definitions
1.1. Bank means CMB slamic Bank Berhad (671380-H).
1.2. Debit Card means the CMB slamic Debit MasterCard and any replacement or renewal
thereof which is issued by the Bank.
1.3. "Cardholder(s)" means a customer of the Bank to whom the Debit Card has been issued.
1.4. Designated Account means the account designated by the Cardholder (which has
been approved by the Bank) for the time being for the purpose of carrying out debit
transactions through the use of the Debit Card.
1.5. Gift(s) means the rewards provided under the Rewards Programme which includes
goods, merchandise, vouchers, products, services, travel packages and/ or any other
privileges contained in this Rewards Programme.
1.6. Merchant is an individual, firm or company engaged in the business of selling and
providing Gift(s) featured in this Rewards Programme
1.7. Rewards Programme means the reward programme under the Debit Card Rewards
Catalogue designed by the Bank for Debit Card cardholders.
1.8. Debit Card Bonus Points means the points awarded to the Cardholders for retail
purchases or transactions charged to the Card in accordance with any provisions herein.

2. EIigibiIity
2.1. All Cardholders under the Debit Card Bonus Points scheme are eligible to participate in
this Rewards Programme.
2.2. By participating in this Rewards Programme, the Cardholders are deemed to have read,
understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2.3. n order to be eligible to earn or redeem Debit Card Bonus Points, the Cardholders'
Designated Account linked to the Debit Card must be valid and in good standing.
Cardholder whose account(s) in the opinion of the Bank has been opened fraudulently
shall not be eligible to participate in this Rewards Programme and the Bank reserves the
absolute right to decline any redemption of Debit Card Bonus Points if the Cardholder's
Designated Account is cancelled or terminated by the Bank.
2.4. Cardholders are to ensure that the signature on the gift redemption form is
similar/matches the signature endorsed on their account opening application form.


3. Debit Card Bonus Points Earned
3.1. The Cardholders will earn one (1) Debit Card Bonus Point for every RM2.00 (rounded
down) amount of local and international retail purchases utilizing the Debit Card. The
Debit Card Bonus Points earned in respect of retail purchases transacted outside
Malaysia will be calculated based on the RM equivalent of the transacted sum which will
be converted at the prevailing exchange rate determined by the Bank at its absolute
discretion.
3.2. The Debit Card Bonus Points scheme is earned and accumulated on a per card basis.
For the avoidance of doubt, Debit Card Bonus Points earned may not be combined
between two different Debit Cards held by different Cardholders although they may have
been tagged to the same Designated Account.
3.3. The following transactions shall not earn Debit Card Bonus Points :-
a. Cash withdrawal or cash deposits;
b. Retail transactions in respect of purchases of petrol, diesel and any other
purchases made at the petrol kiosks;
c. Payment of the annual fees or service charges, delivery charges, cash payments,
card replacement fee, dispute charges, fraud charges or any other fees, charges or
penalties whether imposed by the Bank or otherwise.
3.4. The awarding of one (1) Debit Card Bonus Point for every RM2.00 may be subject to
change from time to time as determined by the Bank upon adequate notice to the
Cardholders.
3.5. Debit Card Bonus Points earned and accumulated can be viewed online by the
Cardholder at www.cimbclicks.com.my or can be ascertained from the Bank's Call
Centre by calling1300 880 900 or 603-22956100.
3.6. Debit Card Bonus Points earned do not have any cash or monetary value and are not
convertible to cash. Accrued Debit Card Bonus Points are not convertible to cash
unless expressly stated otherwise.
3.7. Debit Card Bonus Points earned are not transferable to any third party.
3.8. Debit Card Bonus Points earned in relation to a particular transaction may be withdrawn
in the event of any Debit Card transaction disputes with the Merchant in respect of that
transaction.


4. VaIidity of Debit Card Bonus Points
4.1. Debit Card Bonus Points earned in a particular calendar quarter are valid for up to three
(3) calendar years and shall expire on the first (1
st
) day of the following calendar quarter.
For example, Debit Card Bonus Points earned between 1 January 2011 and 31 March
2011 will expire by 1 April 2014.
4.2. Unless utilized earlier, Debit Card Bonus Points earned and accumulated must be
redeemed prior to the expiry date. All unused or unredeemed Debit Card Bonus Points
will be automatically forfeited after the applicable expiry date without notification to the
Cardholders. Cardholders cannot carry forward any unused points earned and / or
accumulated points once the Debit Card Bonus Points have expired. Any requests by
Cardholders to utilise the unused points after the expiry date shall be not be entertained
by the Bank and the Bank shall have no obligation to reinstate the expired or forfeited
points.
4.3. Notwithstanding the provisions of Clause 4.1 above, should the Debit Card be cancelled,
the Debit Card Bonus Points earned and accumulated shall be forfeited and the Bank
has no obligation to reinstate the points.
4.4. The Bank reserves the right to alter the validity period of Debit Card Bonus Points and
will give the Cardholders adequate notice of any such change. n such an event, the
Cardholders will be given a grace period to utilize or redeem the Debit Card Bonus
Points. The change will take effect from the date stated in such notice.


5. Gift(s) Redemption
5.1. All redemption of the Debit Card Bonus Points must use the redemption form, attached
to this Rewards Catalogue and which must be duly completed and signed by the
Cardholders and sent to the Bank either via fax or mailing back to the Bank. Alternatively
Cardholders may call to redeem through the Redemption Hotline as stated in the
redemption form. The Cardholders agree that proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
The Cardholders further acknowledge that it is their duty and obligation to ensure that
any redemption submitted is duly received by the Bank for processing. The Bank shall
not be responsible of any delay or failure of delivery of any Gift(s) arising from the non
receipt of the redemption form.
5.2. All redemption of Debit Card Bonus Points (including a request to transfer Debit Card
Bonus Points to the designated Cardholder's CMB Bank/Direct Access credit card
account) are subject to the Cardholder's Debit Card being valid and the Designated
Account being in good standing i.e. not closed, suspended or terminated by the Bank at
the time the redemption request is made.
5.3. Redemption of Debit Card Bonus Points is based on a per card basis. Any requests to
combine Debit Card Bonus Points earned between (2) two or more Debit Cards of
different Cardholders will not be entertained.
5.4. Subject to clause 5.2, all redemptions are also subject to the accumulation of sufficient
Debit Card Bonus Points and the Bank's final acceptance. Redemption request with
insufficient Debit Card Bonus Points shall be cancelled automatically by the Bank
without further reference to the Cardholder.
5.5. All Gifts featured in the catalogue are subject to the following:-
a. Product/service availability;
b. Cardholder's available Debit Card Bonus Points;
c. Cardholder's Debit Card and Designated Account status;
d. Final acceptance by the Bank; and
e. Any restrictions that may apply as to where and when the Gift(s) can be redeemed.
5.6. Cardholders may utilise their accumulated Debit Card Bonus Points to qualify for any
one or more of the following options: -
a. Featured product/service redemption; or
b. Transferring and converting of Debit Card Bonus Points to the designated
Cardholder's CMB Bank / Direct Access credit card account.
5.7. The Bank hereby expressly disclaims all and any liability to the Cardholder in respect of
any redemption of goods, products or services under this Rewards Programme.
5.8. Debit Card Bonus Points, which have been used to redeem any Gift(s), shall be deemed
as extinguished. Request by Cardholders for any change to or cancellation of a
redemption, which has accepted by the Bank, will not be entertained. Gift(s) redeemed
cannot be returned or exchanged. Provided always that the Bank shall have the
absolute right to refuse any request for the redemption of any type of Gift(s) which are
no longer available. The Bank shall in its absolute discretion be entitled to substitute or
remove any product and/or service from the Rewards Programme.
5.9. The Bank hereby expressly excludes, does not make and disclaims any representation,
warranty or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral in respect of any of the
Gifts featured. n particular, the Bank does not warrant that any of the Gifts provided
herein is of merchantable quality and/or fit for the particular purpose. The Bank shall not
be held responsible in any way whatsoever for any damage or loss or accident from the
use of any of the redeemed items.
5.10. All items featured in this catalogue may differ from the actual goods or products in terms
of color or design details. The Bank shall not be liable nor responsible in any way
whatsoever to the Cardholders resulting from such discrepancies.
5.11. n the event that the Cardholder's choice of Gift(s) is/are unavailable, the Bank reserves
the right upon giving adequate notice to substitute it with other item(s) of similar value.
The Bank reserves the right, without giving any prior notice nor assigning any reason
whatsoever to the Cardholders, to discontinue and/or replace all or any of the products
and services provided herein.
5.12. The Bank shall not be liable for or obliged to recognise or replace any defective, lost,
damaged or stolen Gift(s) and Gift(s) accepted in good condition are strictly non-
returnable and non-exchangeable. n the event of Gift(s) being defective or damaged
upon delivery or for any queries relating to the warranty, Cardholders should contact the
parties whose numbers are stated on the warranty card.
5.13. Cardholders hereby give their consent to and authorize the Bank to use and/or disclose
their particulars to a third party including the participating Merchants for the purposes of
the Rewards Programme. The Bank warrants that the disclosure shall be limited to the
Cardholder's name, address and telephone number and shall be used only in relation to
and for the purposes of the Rewards Programme.
5.14. The Bank shall only be responsible for taking the redemption instructions from the
Cardholders and forwarding the same to the Merchants of the respective items. The
Bank disclaims any liability or duty in relation to the items redeemed. The item(s) is/are
sent and supplied to the Cardholders by the Merchant who is solely responsible for all
obligations and liabilities, relating to the supply and warranty of the terms and all
ancillary charges.
5.15. The Bank assume no responsibility for any physical injury, death, claims, losses, costs,
expenses, damages or embarrassment suffered by Cardholders or any other party, of
whatever nature resulting from the redemption of Gift(s) or the use of any Gift(s) offered
herein.
5.16. Any dispute concerning Gift(s) received under the Rewards Programme shall be settled
between the Cardholders and the Merchant without recourse to the Bank.
5.17. Should the utilisation of the Debit Card Bonus Points and/or the redemption of Gift result
in a tax liability to the Cardholders, the Bank shall not be responsible for paying the
same. Any taxes or charges imposed by the relevant authorities/ service establishments/
or Merchants pursuant thereto shall be borne by the Cardholders.
5.18. The Cardholders agree that any redemption of the Gift(s) that consist of vouchers issued
by the Merchant(s) cannot be encashed and are valid for use until the date specified and
shall be subject to terms and conditions contained therein as may be determined by the
Merchant(s). f they remain unused after the specified date, the vouchers will lapse and
will not be replaced. The Bank is not responsible for expired, lost or stolen vouchers or
Gift(s).
5.19. The terms and conditions specified in the vouchers are beyond the Bank's control and
determined by the Merchants. Any disputes arising under the terms and conditions of
the vouchers shall be settled directly by the Cardholders with the Merchants without
recourse to the Bank. The Bank will not be responsible in replacing or cancelling any
redemption as a result of such dispute.
5.20. n the event that the voucher takes the form of a cash voucher(s), the Cardholder can
use the Cardholder's Debit Card to pay the difference to the Merchant should the
purchase be in excess of the value stated on the cash voucher(s). There will be no
refund of the unused portion of the value of the cash voucher(s).
5.21. ssuance of dining vouchers does not constitute a reservation with the relevant Merchant.
Cardholders are responsible for making the reservations and notifying the participating
Merchant of the voucher(s) they are going to redeem. The Cardholders further agree
that the respective Merchant may impose further terms and conditions on the dining
vouchers which the Cardholders must abide with.
5.22. Gift voucher(s) of a Merchant are only valid at participating outlets listed in the
voucher(s) or the Rewards Programme.
5.23. The Bank will not replace or assist the Cardholders by placing a hold or freeze status on
any misplaced, lost or stolen Gift voucher(s) under any circumstances.
5.24. Redeemed Gift vouchers are not exchangeable for any other Gift(s), are not refundable,
not replaceable and not transferable for cash or credit under any circumstances.
5.25. All payment for courier fee shall be made and charged to the Cardholder's Designated
Account.
5.26. Cardholders acknowledge and agree that Gift(s) redeemed are on a No Trial Period
basis.


6. Points Transfer
6.1. Cardholders who are CMB Bank/Direct Access credit card members will be entitled to
transfer and convert their Debit Card Bonus Points for Bonus Points under CMB
Bank/Direct Access Bonus Points (the 'Bonus Points') scheme.
6.2. The transfer and conversion of Debit Card Bonus Points to Bonus Points will take
approximately fourteen (14) business days from the date of the Bank's receipt of
Cardholders' redemption form. The Bank shall not revise nor cancel any successful
transfer and conversion of Debit Card Bonus Points to Bonus Points.
6.3. Bonus Points earned as a result of a transfer and conversion of Debit Card Bonus Points

9.1 The Bank reserves the right to suspend, cancel, terminate or withdraw this Rewards
Programme in whole or part, by giving the Cardholders adequate prior notice. For the
avoidance of doubt, suspension, cancellation, termination or withdrawal of this Rewards
Programme shall not entitle any of the Cardholders to any claim or compensation
against the Bank for any losses or damages suffered by Cardholders as a direct or
indirect result of the act of suspension, cancellation or termination.
9.2 The Bank reserves the rights upon giving adequate notice to vary (whether by addition,
deletion, modification, amendment or otherwise howsoever) (the Amendment) any of
the terms and conditions herein. Notification to Cardholders in respect of the
Amendment shall be effected at the Bank's absolute discretion through any one of the
following means of communication, namely, by ordinary mail to the Cardholder's last
known address or by posting a notice regarding the Amendment at each of the Bank's
branches or by effecting an advertisement regarding the Amendment in one newspaper
of the Bank's choice, or via the Bank's website and the Amendment shall be deemed as
binding on the Cardholders as from the date of notification of the Amendment or from
such other date as may be specified by the Bank in the notification.
9.3 These terms and conditions are in addition to the Terms and Conditions For Debit Card
applicable to the Cardholders. n the event of any inconsistency between these terms
and conditions and the Terms and Conditions For Debit Card, these terms and
conditions shall prevail in so far as they apply for the redemption of the Debit Card
Bonus Points by Cardholders but not otherwise.

You can transfer the Debit Card Bonus Points from your CIMB Bank/CIMB Islamic Debit MasterCard to your CIMB Bank Credit
Card. The transfer must be done in multiples of 1,000 points, starting with a minimum of 10,000 points.
