Software Maintenance is required for new purchases and includes Help Desk support and updates/upgrades, patches and workaround, as available Software Maintenance is offered in 2 coverage levels (8X5 and 24X7) and in 5 terms (1-year, 2-year, 3-year, 4-year and 5-year)

NBD Hardware services (included in price)

Includes 3-Year Next Business Day (NBD) Parts Replacement and On-Site Support Warranty as follows:
Provides a technician dispatched to the customers business location on the Next Business Day following completion of telephone-based troubleshooting
subject to cutoff times applicable to the particular country (typically between 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday).

Includes any required replacement parts to return the server to fully operating condition Warranty extensions are available for years 4 & 5. Can be purchased up front (more economical) or up to 60 days prior to the 3-year warranty expiration. Warranty is available in most but not all countries. In some countries (examples Iceland, Croatia, Malta), service must be obtained through a local Dell partner and covers parts replacement only (excluding delivery/pickup/labor). For eligibility, contact your channel manager.

Provides a technician dispatched to the customers business location within 4 hours following completion of telephone-based troubleshooting, if the customer location is within 150 miles of a major airport, geographically accessible within 4 hours, and in a supported country. Includes any required replacement parts to return the server to fully operating condition. Customer locations in a supported country but not meeting the other criteria receive NBD service or best efforts. Available in most but not all countries. For eligibility or to determine if a location can be supported within 4 hours, contact your channel manager. See next slide for EU country eligibility.

3, 4 and 5 year terms are available. Must be purchased up front at time of appliance order. If purchase 3 or 4 year, can add 4th or 5th year later.
