A muscular organ, attached in the front of the frogs mouth that can quickly extend in order to catch bugs; aids in tasting, chewing, and swallowing. Truncus arteriosus. A short artery that carries blood out of the heart from the ventricle, before branching into two aortic arches. Tympanic membrane. The covering of the frogs ear. Ureter. One of a pair of tubes connecting the kidney to the urinary bladder. Urinary Bladder. Muscular organ that serves as storage for urine that will later be excreted from the body. Vasa efferentia. A series of tubules that leads from the testes to the vas deferens, forming the head of the epididymis. Ventral. Toward the belly. Vomerine teeth.
