The Quail Run Learning Fund supports the wonderful math, reading, music, soul shoppe, art, and technology programs. The fund is still in need of $25,000 to cover our budgetary obligations. If each child can gather $25 or more in pledges, this event could raise $25,000 towards the IXQGPV25,000 deficit to cover the 2011-2012 budget commitment.

At Quail Run our students are lucky to have supportive parents who make the funding of the Quail Run Learning Fund a possibility. Our Learning Fund supports the wonderful math, reading, music, Soul Shoppe, art, and technology programs, amongst others.
As you may be aware, CaliIornia`s budget shortIall has aIIected our school district. With cuts being made in all areas of funding, the Quail Run Learning Fund has increased its commitment to fund school programs. The Iund`s registration, giIt wrap/cookie dough, and auction efforts have raised a significant amount of money, yet we are still in need of $25,000 to cover our budgetary obligations. At this time we are planning to hold a Math- a-thon for students of all grades. Each student will get the opportunity to solicit pledges from friends and family for each of the problems he/she will be solving in the Math test on Math-A-Thon day.
The test itself will be given by the class teacher during regular school hours. It will only include grade appropriate problems. The final grading and result will be given by the respective class teacher. This is also an opportunity to practice for the STAR Test.
Each student will be able to solicit pledges for each problem or even get a lump sum donation for the whole effort. I f each child can gather $25 or more in pledges, this event could raise $25,000 towards the IXQGV25,000 deficit to cover the 2011-2012 budget commitment. 100% of the funds will be used to fund programs that benefit all students. Any donation amounts above or below the $25 target are appreciated and encouraged.
All pledge sheets need to be turned in to the class teacher by March 27, 2012. The pledge form is on the back of this flyer. You can make copies of this form if needed.
