Science and technology has changed the way we live. It has also changed the way we communicate. The world is becoming smaller. People can communicate with one another through the telephone and the internet. We no longer need to depend only on letters to keep in touch. We can know what is happening far away within seconds through the radio and television. We can also travel easily from one place to another in cars, ships and aeroplanes. In the field of education, science and technology is also changing the way people learn. More and more schools are using technology for teaching and learning. Most schools now use the radio, television and computers to help students learn better. Many universities are also using teleconferencing for teaching and learning. Through teleconferencing, students can attend lessons in one place while the lecturer is teaching in another place far away. They can see him or her on a big screen, which looks like a television screen. Modern life change as science and technology develops. We can therefore expect more changes in the future.
