DAILY TRADING NOTE (13th April 2012)

Market Review & Outlook Precious Metals

Gold opened the session on a flat note and registered an intraday low of `28528 levels since then rallied smartly from these levels to an intraday high of `28774 levels and finally closed the session at `28742 levels. `28900 is stiff resistance for gold in the near term. A failed to close above the `28900 levels will see the gold price consolidating between `28500 `28900 levels. Silver closed the session on a positive note to close the session at ``59994 levels. Silver rallied smartly on yesterdays session and closed above its support cluster of near term and long term moving average placed at `56700 - `56800 levels on the daily chart. Sustenance above the `56800 levels will see the silver price heading towards `57700 `57900 levels.

Base Metals & Energy

Zinc traded the session on a positive note to close the session at `104.45. as we recommended in our previous updates that, Sustenance above the `102.5 levels will see the zinc price heading towards `105 `105.5 levels for an upcoming session. Zinc rallied smartly on yesterdays session and achieved our target of `105 levels. Nickel and lead is also closed the session on a positive note. Crude oil opened the session on a negative note and registered an intraday low of `5278 levels since then rallied smartly from these levels to an intraday high of `5345 levels and finally closed the session at `5299 levels. Near term resistance for crude oil is placed at `5330 - `5350 levels. A closed above the `5350 levels will see the crude prices heading towards `5450 - `5480 levels.
