school.Later the recyclables will be send to Buddha Tzu Chi and APP.!

New Years 2012 produces 6,745 tons of garbage. Pollution levels in Jakarta and Surabaya cause 537,000 premature deaths. Government project: Waste to Energy. Waste disposal in Jakarta is near local settlements.

! Established in 1998! ! Tzu Chi won an award of entrepreneur of the year for

environmental sustainability in 2012!

! Cycle: Trashes are mainly obtain from locals, put in trash

compound, the workers (3/4 people) sort out the trash and separated into different categories: plastic, paper, glass!
! The money obtained from the trash collection will be given to

those who are need (for medical purposes) !
