START NOW, FOR A BETTER ENVIRONMENT. Do you realize that nowadays our environment is badly polluted? Pollutions such as water, air and land are actively happening; we can see that most of the countries are dealing with the same issue. In order to save our Mother Nature, we need to join forces to solve this issue as soon as possible. Now, what are the ways to save our environment? One of the ways that we need to carry out is to save energy. For example campaigning Earth Hour will create awareness among us. An hour without any source of energy can definitely help to save environment. Another example is by practising car pooling which means an arrangement among a group of automobile owners by which each owner in turn drives the others to and from a designated place. By practising car pooling we can help our Mother Nature to survive longer. We need to save energy so that we can prevent global warming. There is a saying that, Prevention is better than cure. So, we can turn off electricity when not in use or share rides with our neighbour or even use public transportation to go to work. All of these can definitely help to save our environment. Other than that, we need to save water. Water is life, without water there is no living organisms. Can you imagine one day people living without water? This is also impossible as we need water to go through our daily routine. One of the ways that we can do is to turn off water tap while we brush our teeth, reduce the water level washing our clothes and do not dump any wastage into the river or seas. Our earth consists of 70% of water, according to Thomas Fuller; we never know the worth of water till the well is dry. Besides that, another way to save our environment is by saving trees. Without trees, it will costs imbalance of the ecosystem, because the living organisms need oxygen to continue the cycle of life. This is also important for the food chain for the continuation and the reproduction of other species. Nowadays, trees as we know it are used for a lot of things especially in the marketing industry. The main product is well paper. For example, is paper for boxes, newspapers and also a whole lot of things that

we can find in the shelves of supermarkets as well as in our wallet. Yes, money do grows on trees, as much as we deny it. We know that every day, a patch of trees the size of a football field is harvested just because we need them to gain what we want. But we should not do this. First we should recycle any paper products that we used. For example, after reading the newspaper, do not dispose it, instead use it for another purpose, you should perhaps consider using it for your school project or simply use it to wrap your textbooks. Other than that, use both sides of paper every time you print. Next, to save our environment we really need to think about reducing our waste. Waste products pollutes the environment excessively especially if it is not dispose of in a proper manner. First of all, in order to reduce waste we need to avoid throwing away stuffs, especially electronics devices. This is because throwing away electronic devices, especially ones that are broken, will release toxicity to the ecosystem as well as increase the landfill. Other than that, we can reduce waste by practicing composting. We can do this whenever we want to dispose things like parts of greens that we dont want to use in our dishes or leftover food that you cannot find a way to finish consuming. We also can reduce waste by the simple act of bringing our own shopping bag to the mall. Lastly, there is a lot more that you can do in terms of the environmental protection. When you go through this least of environment issues, you will realize the number of problems that are plaguing the environment. This is the least that we can do to save our environment to begin with.
