Course Mode Blended (Face to Face + online) The general objectives of Course After completing studying this Course the student should be able to: 1-List the cell components 2- Identify each cell organelles and discuss its function 3-Discuss the term of physiological cell death and give examples for different types of cell death. 4- Identify the four basic categories of tissues 5- Discuss classification of epithelial tissue 6- Discuss the modifications of the epithelial cells 7-Identify different connective tissue cells and fibers, and discuss their functions 8-Describe the histological features of different types of connective tissue proper and examples of their locations 9- Identify different types of cartilage and their locations 10- Discuss the structure of bone and methods of bone growth and development 11- Describe physiological death of hypertrophic chondrocytes 12- Identify each type of blood cells in mammals and birds, and enumerate their functions 13-Discuss the Histological organization of the three main types of muscle tissue: skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle 14- Discuss structures and functions of the nerve cells including neurons and neuralgia.
