Water Supply Works

1- All works must be coordinated with the water department at the Municipality &CMWU. 2- The price includes the cost of excavation to depth indicated in drawings not less than 1m using retaining shuttering, shoring according to instructions of Engineer, bedding of 20 cm clean sand under around and above the pipe with compaction, backfilling of the trench up to design level with sand in layers 25 cm thick for each with compaction 98% MDD and all required tests. 3- The work includes removal of the surplus materials outside the site to places as instructed by the Engineer. 4- The work includes supply and installation of metallic warning tap, and other accessories and thrust blocks according to details. 5- The covers of manholes are made of cast iron with diameter 60 cm engraved by the word " Water " in English and Arabic. the ring is from cast iron square shaped with 70*70 cm dimensions. the concrete which used around the ring is B350 and should have a Basalts layer of 2 cm above the concrete and around the cover rings. according to drawings, specifications and Engineers instruction. 6-Cleaning ,disinfection and testing all the installed pipes according to technical specification, Engineers instructions and coordinating with water department in the municipality & CMWU. 7-All works are performed according to the drawings, specifications and Engineers instruction 8-All Manholes items to be painted with hot bituminous 70/25 paint in addition to primer coat as directed by the supervision Engineers & the manufacture instructions. 9-The price include reinstate repairing any damage resulted from the works, all according to specification & as per engineer instructions 10-The contractor must be submit detailed shop drawings of the coming items for the approval by the Engineer before starting the work. 11-The price includs supply and lay warning tape over the pipeline with text indicating the exiatance of Water Pipeline. 12-All gate valves should be 16 bar working pressure Hakohav, Raphael made or equivalent 13- All ball valves should be 16 bar working pressure Zagiv made or equivalent 14- Air release valves should be 16 bar working pressure A.R.I made or equivalent

2.1 Supply, and install 110mm diameter PVC-U water pipes PN 10 L.M
including excavation, backfilling, elbows, angles, Tees, flanges, end caps, joints and accessories .The pipe should be bedded and covered with at lest 20 cm of clean sand around, at the top and bottom of the pipe . The used sand for backfilling of the trench will be in layers not exceeding 25cm, with compaction not less than 98 % , up to the design leveling of the road all according to the engineer's instruction, drawings and technical specifications

2.3 Supply and install 80 cm internal diameter precast circular reinforced concrete water manhole for air release valve, complete with B300 cast in place reinforced concrete base, cast iron cover (25ton Capacity) with frame. The supplied concrete rings should be provided with cast iron steps @ 30cm maximum. The work includes excavation in any type of soil to any depth , backfilling with clean sand and compaction 98% MDD up to the design leveling of the roads. The manhole base should be provided with drainage opening with aggregate bed.
The price shall include Tee 110x110x50mm, ball valve 2" diameter Sagiv or equivalent, air release valve 2" diameter double action ARI or equivalent, Nipples, fittings and all needed tests to finish work according to drawing, specification and engineer's instructions. 2.4 Ditto but Manhole 100 cm diameter for washout valve. The price includes supply and install gate valve 3", flanged dresser 3", Tee 63x63x50mm , Nipples, Jack supports, male connector for firefighting hose, fire fighting hose 2" with length 15 m and all fittings according to drawing, specification and engineer instructions pipe 110 mm (MH1). 2.9 Cutting the existing 200mm UPVC pipe and connecting the No.

The work includes excavation and backfilling with clean compacted sand all as specification drawings and engineer's instruction. 2.11 Excavation , backfilling with clean sand on layers not to exceed 25 cm each , Supply and install house connection 32". Sewage works _The contractor has to submit detailed shop drawings of the coming items for the approval by the Rafah municipality and CMWU before starting the work. _The Contractor has to visit the site for inspection. _The price includes the cost of excavation to depth indicated in drawings and using retaining shuttering, shoring according to the instructions of Engineer, bedding of 15 cm clean sand under ,around and above the pipe with compaction, backfilling of the trench up to design level in layers 25cm thick for each with compaction 98% MDD and all required tests. _The work includes removal of the surplus materials outside the site to places as instructed by the Engineer. _The work includes connection of the manholes to the existing sewage line after cleaning and adjusting the level and orientation of the existing pipes if needed according to engineer instructions. _ The holes of the manholes have to be done using core machine. _ All the manholes have to be coated by one coat primer and external hot bitumen coating 75/25. _ Measurement of pipes and manholes depth is from the invert level of pipes to the design asphalt level. the price include erecteing Flexible Joints for manholes at the main line of sewage _Cleaning and testing all the installed pipes according to technical specification, Engineers instructions and coordinating with water department in the municipality _All tests costs to be included in the unit rate items, without any extra paid money. _The price include reinstate repairing any damage resulted from the work, all according to specification & as per engineer instructions _Covers of manholes are made of cast iron with diameter 60 cm for all manholes sizes 25 ton capacity, and engraved by the word " Sewage " in English and Arabic. the ring is from cast iron square shaped with 70*70 cm dimensions.
