Unpack the full VMJ_Color_Plus-Unpack_First_Package.zip package on your local PC first using WINZIP or WINRAR Archive Software. You should now see some directories: /administrator /components The directory structure in those directories is the same as VirtueMart Component in your Joomla 1.5 site.

Open up an FTP Connection to your site and upload the directories to your Joomla! site. /administrator to /path-to-site-root/administrator/ /components to /path-to-site-root/components/ You will have to confirm overwriting some existing files in these directories.

Execute the following SQL from phpMyAdmin in your Joomla Database: ALTER TABLE `jos_vm_product` ADD `custom_field_1` TEXT NOT NULL AFTER `product_desc` ,ADD `custom_field_2` TEXT NOT NULL AFTER `custom_field_1`; ALTER TABLE `jos_vm_manufacturer` ADD `mf_thumb_image` VARCHAR( 255 ) NULL DEFAULT NULL AFTER `mf_desc` ,ADD `mf_full_image` VARCHAR( 255) NULL DEFAULT NULL AFTER `mf_thumb_image`;

4. Install plg_phatfusionslideshow.zip (Phatfusion Plugin) using the Extensions Installer of your Joomla Site. 5. Now open the Plugins Manager of your Joomla Site and enable the plug-in called Content Phatfusion Slideshow. Then go to your VirtueMart Configuration page. Enable content mambots / plugins in descriptions option under Frontend Features in the Global tab. Then select the tab called 'Site'. Select the theme as 'vmj_color_plus' instead of 'default'. Click on Apply.

10. Select the Category Template as 'vmj_color_plus'. Default number of products in a row needs be selected as 3 or 4 depending on the width of your site. Select the FLYPAGE Template as 'vmj_color_plus.tpl'. Click on save. 11. Now open each of your Categories. Select the Category Template as 'vmj_color_plus'. Default number of products in a row needs be selected as 3 or 4 depending on the width of your site. Select the FLYPAGE Template as 'vmj_color_plus.tpl'. Click on save. Click on save. 12. Go to Theme Configuration page by using the link given just below the Theme Selection list on the VirtueMart Configuration page. You can change the color of the respective location of the Theme and change other Theme Configurations from here. 13. Standard installation of VMJ Color Plus includes modified English, German, French, Dutch and Spanish language files which can be located at administrator\components\com_virtuemart\languages\common\ If you are using language other that English then please add the following language tags in your respective language file located at administrator\components\com_virtuemart\languages\common\ 'BP_PRODUCT_DETAILS' => 'Details', 'BP_SORT_PRODUCT_LIST' => 'Sort List', 'P_PRODUCT_OVERVIEW' => 'Overview', 'P_PRODUCT_ATTACHMENT' => 'Download Brochure', 'PHPSHOP_PRODUCT_CUSTOM_FIELD_1' => 'Technical Specifications', 'PHPSHOP_PRODUCT_CUSTOM_FIELD_2' => 'Shipping Information', 'PHPSHOP_PRODUCT_NO_IMAGE' => 'No Image Available', 14. Once the installation and configuration is completed please clear Cache of your site to continue.
