EXHIBIT B-16 METAL LOCKERS

Metal lockers shall conform to the following: Lockers shall be single tier, 30.5cm x 38.1-cm x 1.8-m (12-x 15-x 78-in.) high with sloping top. Steel shall be mild annealed, cold rolled, free from any surface imperfections. All bolts shall be cadmium plated. Lockers shall be assembled with fittings to insure neat, rigid workmanship. Door frames shall be 16-gauge formed steel channels. Corners shall be lapped and welded in a manner that will resist strains. Top and bottom cross members shall provide support for the front edge of the locker top and locker bottoms. Doors shall be one piece 16-gauge steel. Doors shall have 15-x 15-cm (6-x 6in.) louvers, top and bottom. Body parts shall be 24-gauge steel flanged to give double thickness of metal at back vertical corners. Hinges shall be full loop forming a double thickness of each leaf. Hinge pin shall be spun over at ends to prevent removal. Doors shall each have three hinges. Doors shall have a locking device engaging the door frames at three points. Locking device shall be prelocking, door automatically locking when closed. Operating part of handle shall attach directly to locking bar for positive action and handle shall have built-in padlock attachment. Handle shall be chrome plated and of die-cast zinc alloy. Latching lift shall be cadmium plated 12-gauge steel and shall attach directly to locking bar. Padlock attachment shall be an integral part of the lift. Lockers shall have one hat shelf located approximately 24.1 cm (9 in.) below top. Lockers shall have three single prong hooks and one double prong shelf hook. Hooks shall be made of rustproof steel rod stock with ball points. Each hook shall be attached to lockers with two bolts. Steel parts shall be thoroughly cleaned before finishing to provide a base for application of enamel baked at 154C (300F) minimum m. Enamel shall stand rigid hammer test without flaking or chipping. Doors and frames shall be given an additional surface coat of spraying lacquer. Colour shall be as selected by MARAFIQ. All material shall be delivered in original unopened packages, containers, or bundles, bearing the brand name and the name of the manufacturer. Metal lockers and accessories shall be carefully handled to prevent damage to the

surfaces, edges and ends and shall be stored at the site above ground in a covered, dry location. 1.11 Metal lockers shall be mounted on concrete bases, straight and plumb, with all horizontal lines level and rigidly anchored. Units or sections that are dented, punctured, deeply scratched to metal, or otherwise damaged shall be removed and replaced with new undamaged units or sections at no additional cost. Units having only marred, abraded, or lightly scratched surface finish shall be refinished and shall be touched up with the same type and colour of paint that was used for the factory finish.
