EXHIBIT B-17 METAL TOILET PARTITIONS

All metal sheets used in the manufacturing of metal toilet partitions, doors, and screens shall have 35-g (1.25-oz) commercial zinc coating class and a baked enamel paint finish of a colour to be selected by the Purchaser. Toilet enclosures shall conform to Federal Specification RR-P-1352, Partitions, Toilet, Complete, Type I, Style A, B or C. Panels to receive toilet paper holders or grab bars shall be reinforced for the reception of the items required. Partitions and door panels shall be 2.5-cm (1-in.) thick, made of two outer sheets, not less than 22-gauge and 18-gauge for the Eastern Toilet (HAMMAM) doors. Doors shall be insulated with sound deadening material with formed edges sealed with a continuous over-crown locking strip. Door edges shall be electrically welded with welds spaced not over 45 cm (18 in.) apart around the entire perimeter. Locking strips on doors and partitions shall be mitered, welded, and finished at the corners. Pilasters shall be 3.2-cm (1-in.) thick made of 2 sheets of 18 gauge steel, welded, and finished as specified for partitions and doors. Pilasters shall be secured to steel overhead member with 1.1-cm (7/16-in.) diameter galvanized bolts. Pilaster connection shall be secured by an integral 12 gauge split Uchannel welded to the pilaster member. This connection shall be secured by an internal-external locking saddle activated by 1.1-cm (7/16-in.) nuts and facing washers. Connection assembly to be hot dipped galvanized or equal. Pilaster key spacers shall be provided and installed between bottom of supporting member and finished ceiling line. Strains of lateral thrust shall be transmitted to structural carrying member, independent of finished ceiling material. The Eastern Toilet (HAMMAM) enclosure panels shall be floor mounted. The panel construction and method of fastening to the concrete floor slab shall be as specified herein before for the pilasters. Floor plates, expansion shields, or stud bolts shall be furnished to suit the floor construction. The panels shall be attached to the wall with stirrup brackets of heat-treated, polished, and anodized extruded aluminium alloy. The pilaster ceiling connections and the Eastern Toilet (HAMMAM) enclosure panel floor connections shall be concealed with a one-piece 7.6-cm (3-in.) polished Type 302 stainless steel trim shoe. The trim shoe shall be theft proof and held in place with concealed anchor clips. Upper and lower hinge brackets for door mounting shall be corrosion-proof steel alloy, factory mounted on the pilaster. Bracket shall be flush with external surfaces of the pilaster face sheets and finished to match the pilaster. Top hinge pivot door fitting shall be recessed and inset into door edge approximately 5 cm (2 in.) below the top. A stainless steel pivot pin shall be mounted within the door structure, supported both above and below the pivot bracket.

Top and bottom door hinge fittings shall be nonferrous alloy. Door hinge fittings shall be so formed to permit the outer face of the castings to be fully flush with the face plates of the door. Corner door fittings shall be interlocked with the oval-crown locking strip around the door perimeter. Each door shall have a cast alloy chrome-plate coat hook and bumper. It shall be attached by one-way head screws. Each door shall be equipped with a concealed latch with face mortised flush with edge locking strip. All working parts to be completely concealed within the door thickness. Latch bolts shall be stainless steel and exposed escucheon plate and handled polished chrome plated, nonferrous metal. A one-piece heavy cast, nonferrous alloy stop and keeper shall be provided. Stop and keeper shall be polished chrome plated finish with 6-mm (-in.) diameter rubber bumper, locked in place, made theft proof, and through-bolted in pilaster with one-way head shoulder screw and hex nuts. Entrance screens shall conform to Federal Specification RR-P-1352, Partitions, Toilet, Complete, Type II, Style A. Panels shall be 2.5-cm (1-in.) thick made of two sheets of 22 gauge stretcher level steel, assembled over and cemented under pressure to a dense sound-deadening insulation. The two face plates of the panel shall have formed edges sealed with continuous over-crown locking strip, mitered, welded, and finished at corners. Pilaster shall be made of 20 gauge steel, rolled formed with concealed locked seam, 3.2-cm (1-in.) thick and 7.6 cm (3 in.) in width. Pilaster shall be attached to the floor construction with a heavy one-piece cast alloy nonferrous shoe, 7.6-cm (3-in.) high with polished chrome plate finish. Pilaster shall be attached to the shoe by means of 6-mm (-in.) diameter countersunk oval head machine screws through the side of the shoe and into the pre-tapped concealed lugs. Top of pilaster shall be provided with a onepiece cast alloy nonferrous metal cap, flush with face of pilaster and held in place by means of mechanical fastening. Shoe shall be anchored to floor with 6-mm (-in.)-diameter machine screws and expansion shields. Panels shall be attached to the pilaster or to the walls with brackets made of heat-treated, polished, and anodized extruded aluminium alloy and throughbolted through the pane with shoulder screws and sex nuts with Phillips head. Urinal screens shall conform to Federal Specification RR-P-1352, Partitions, Toilet, Complete, Type III, Style C. Panels shall be wall-hung flush type, 2.5-cm (1-in.) thick made of 2 sheets of 22 gauge steel. Urinal screen assembly shall be similar to the entrance screens. Screens shall be attached to the walls with two brackets made of heat-treated, polished, and anodized extruded aluminium alloy. Each stirrup bracket shall be 7.6-cm (3-in.) long and provided with four holes for attachment of screws to the wall and two through-bolts into partition. All material shall be delivered in original unopened packages, containers, or bundles, bearing the brand name and the name of the manufacturer. Metal

toilet partitions, screens, and accessories shall be carefully handled to prevent damage to the surfaces, edges, and ends and shall be stored at the site above ground in a covered, dry location. 1.15 Room entrance screens, toilet partitions, and urinal screens shall be installed straight and plumb with all horizontal lines level and rigidly anchored to the supporting construction. Drilling and cutting for installation of anchors shall be at locations which will be concealed in the finished work. Doors shall have a uniform vertical edge clearance of approximately 5 mm (3/16 in.) and shall rest open at approximately 30 degrees when the latch is not engaged. Units or sections that are dented, punctured, deeply scratched to metal, or otherwise damaged shall be removed and replaced with new undamaged units or sections at no additional cost. Toilet partitions shall be cleaned and protected from damage until acceptance.
