Introduction
The idea that I want show you consist in a small dispositive

that combined with a single suction cup, can make that it soport high loads of weight, resolving the basic problem of this type of accesories. The marked of suction cup is big, with it will be bigger. Generally is limited to non porous surfaces, but with a rubber adecuate and this dispositive, can be possible use in a conventional walls. Is truth that suction cup has apply in the industry, lifting high loads (tiles and glass) but to reach high loads is necessary high contact surfaces and it is an aesthetic problem when we consider the applications in bath and kitchen and other locations where exist smooth surfaces.

Description of the Idea

The idea in question consist in a dispositive that improves the performance of a single suction cup, allowing it sopport high loads of weight, by means of a hydraulic fluid. Bigger weight, bigger force against the wall, in this manner the weight will be neutralized. against him. Is the Aikido principium, use the enemy's force

II.1- Technical foundations of the idea

The base of this idea is use the weight of the load as compresion force against the suction cup, keeping it more firmly attached in the wall, the force apply by the weight is tranferred by means of a hydraulic fluid.

Look at a single hydraulic principle in the next figure. F2 F1

A2 Fig. II In the fig 2 show

A1

two tubes of diameter different linked,

two plugs of rubber in the extremes, the transversals areas are A1 And A2, and the inner of the tube is fill of oil. If we apply a force F1 in the rubber piston of minor area A1, then the force F2 will be: F2= A2F1 A1 . . . . . . .(a)

If look at the expresion (a), obviously F2 is bigger than F1 because the Relation A2/A1 >1. that move my idea. When the

weight of the load pull down, this force is lead against the wall trough suction cup. The oil is the way where this force is transmited, then this neutralized the weight. In the next figure is the analisys of forces. Here there is a single calculus that show how my invention work. The figure III represent a vertical section of a bent pipe whose two ends are differents diameters D1 and D2 and respective transversals areas A1 and A2. The second end of the pipe is linked to a single suction cup, and in the pipe's inner there is oil. When the weight pull down the piston 1, this force(W) is transferred toward the suction cup in manner amplified (F), attached more firmly the suction cup. Here there a forces diagram. Suction cup Wall A2 F A1 Fy=F*Sin(22) W weight

=22

Fx=F*Cos(22) Fig. III The forces relation is

F=(A2/A1)*W

. . . . ..(a)

The vertical components of the forces will neutralize each other

when

Fy=0

Fy-W =0 F*Sin(22) W = 0
and replacing (a) in this equation:

(A2/A1)*W*Sin(22) W =0 A2= 2,66*A1

That meant that to neutralized a weight of a load, with a angle of inclination with respect to horizontal line necessary a relation of transversals areas A2= = 22 is

2,66*A1.

If the weight is bigger, bigger will be the vertical component of the force against the suction cup, and with the adecuate relation angle-Areas ever the weight will be neutralized.

Proposed Device

Here I show you my dispositive modified, isn't a rigid concept

Fig. VI In this view we can see the inner of device, the yellow conducts are hollow chambers(molded in the plastic casing) filled with oil. The black cylinders are rubber pistons, and the elements in white is the load's hook.

System hook

others two metal axis has as function keep equilibrate the central axis.

How work this device?

To explain the operation we will analyze a side view of this device attached to a wall. The fig. VII is the next

In this design there is a five rubber pistons, the principal piston that is in contact with the system hook and the others four that is in contact with the suction cup with a angle of fifteen degrees. - All the conducts are fill of oil. All the conducts are cylindrical and have the same diameter. We will call the transversal section of the conduct principal (load piston) Ap, and the transversal areas of the conducts in contact with the suction cup will be A1, A2,A3,A4. First we place the super suction cup in the wall, it attached for a diferential of pressure. Then when a object is placed in the hook, your weight (that we will call

W)

will apply a pressure

in the load piston and will be transferred by means of oil toward the four pistons attached to the suction cup, this four pistons form an angle of -Why

degre with the horizontal plain. or

why not

degree?

If I use

degree I need a areas relation of

(A1+A2+A3+A4)=3,86Ap and the figure have a relation (A1+A2+A3+A4)=4Ap therefore is easier use 14,5 for a mathematical explanation That changing the proportions of the draw The force balance in the vertical axis is:

(F1+F2+F3+F4)*Sin(14.5)-W =
We know that and

(equilibrium)

F1=F2=F3=F4

Ap=A1=A2=A3=A4

Then the equation can be write as:

Fy = 4*F*sin(14.5)-W
* y is the vertical axis
Of hydraulic relation we have:

...(b)

F=(A1/Ap)*W

then F=W

and replaced this in the equation

(b) we can prove as the weight W is neutralized.

Fy = 4*W*sin(14.5)-W
neutralized.

. . .(c)

This equation (c) demonstrate analytically as The weight is

For example if we have a load of 15 kgs of mass, your weight will be: W = 15kg*9,8m/s W = 147 N and replacing this value in the equation (c)

Fy = 4*147N*sin(14.5)-147N Fy = 0.22N

This resulting force is negligible and is positive, that mean this force is up. In conclusion, the suction cup keep in is position very stable.

Final Considerations
I'd liked build a prototype, but in this moments I haven't the economical resources and the time is short. I belive that although in this project a little of physics is involved, is very easy understand it. I hope that you can read this document carefully. Thanks
