1. Introduction & history: CENTER FOR PROFFESIONAL EXCELLENCE (CPE) came into existence in 2008 to provide quality education and environment in field of accounting. This institute is founded by the ex-faculty members of SKANS School of accountancy and very successful in their field and among competitors. 1.1. Founders: Mr. Awn Muhammad Mr. Zeeshan Sattar Mr. Farooq Balouch 1.2. Mission: CPEICAF`s mission is to train people to become business professionals of tomorrow. As such, we view a first rate and dedicated careers service as an integral part of the service we provide. 2. Programs Offered: ACCA (Associate Chartered Certified Accountant) CA (Chartered Accountant) FIA (Foundations in Accountancy) HND (Higher National Diploma) in accountancy 3. Total strength: 3.1. Employees: Initially there are 25 total employees in the organization and with the passage of time this figure came to 100 employees since now. 3.2. No. of students: In 2008 the total strength of registered students is 600 which is a very big achievement for them and now there are approximately 1700 registered students in CPE-ICAF

4. Levels of management: There are all three levels of management in CPE-ICAF Strategic level Managerial level Operational level 5. Environment: CPE-ICAF has stable environment. There are few changes in organization and are very much predictable. 6. Branches: 6.1. Islamabad CPE-ICAF has main branch in F-7/4 Islamabad. 6.2. Rawalpindi 6th road branch, Rawalpindi. Commercial market branch, Rawalpindi 7. Stakeholders: Employees Students Bank Creditors Building owner Supplier 8. Competitors: SKANS school of accountancy SBM (school of business and management) NCBMS (National college of business and management sciences) UCI (university college of Islamabad) UCAT

9. Recreation & Facilities: Free transportation facility is provided to students. A semi-annual dinner is arranged for students. A semi-annual trip is also arranged to different recreational places.
Cricket, football, badminton and table tennis tournament is also arranged during the session.

Joint venture: CPE has a Joint venture with ICAF in 2010, to perform their operations and provide quality education by gathering their supreme faculty and to achieve their common interests and goals. 11. Organizations Culture according to Hofstedes cultural model: Theres a culture of individualism because every individual has been assigned a task which he/she perform solely no team work exist. There is a lot of power distance in this organization because Directors and Dean can take decision for organization. Employees ideas are mostly not appreciated. Both male and female are working together. This organization has long term perspective and doing more and more things like branching and joint-venture for long run of business. 12. Structure: 12.1. Task specialization: Employees and faculty members are divided according to their specialized area of working and courses which they can teach. 12.2. Chain of Command: It is very clear in that organization everybody knows that to whom he is responsible for e.g. Assistant to a professor of a particular subject is only responsible to his/her supervisor. Professors are answerable to Principle of particular program.

Centralization and Decentralization: This organization is highly centralized as a group of people is only making decisions.

Departmentalization: There are course department in this organization as we seen that ACCA, CA & FIA academics are working individually.

13. Other information: Informal meetings are held throughout the 6 months session between Directors and Deans. Any idea bought by Director or Management member is discussed in meeting whether formal or informal. Formal meeting is held twice in a 6 month academic session. Hierarchy is need based. Job has been assigned to every individual.
