V. A study was conducted to determine the amount of rainfall in regions of Arizona. To conduct the study, water
gauges were placed at various locations in the state to measure the amount of rainfall in the 12-month period
from January 1993 to December 1993 through December 1993. In order to determine the location of the
gauges, a map was used to separate the state into 600 geographic regions of roughly the same size. A simple
random sample of 80 of the regions was selected from the set of 600 regions, and gauges were placed in a
central location for each of the 80 regions in the sample. At the end of the 12 month period, the rainfall
measured by the gauges was recorded to the nearest tenth of an inch as follows:

construct your pie chart using a computer. Use another page of bond paper for this.
