(It is to be noted that the translation of the Greek name Iesous in the Septuagint is to the English Joshua (Yeshua) and not Jesus, one may indeed ask why it is not so in the New Testament ? The names Iesous and Jesus in the relative languages have no meaning at all, but in Hebrew the name Yeshua does have meaning.) Note the Complete Jewish Bible and the Jewish New Testament Commentary, by David H. Stern. Also note the Holy Bible from the Ancient Eastern Text, from the Aramaic of the Peshitta, by George M. Romans 5:1 "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, which is the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself a ransom for all men.." 1 Timothy 2:5 "Study to shew thyself laudable unto God a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, dividing the word of truth justly." 2 Timothy 2:15 "For all scripture given by inspiration of God, is profitable to teach, to improve, to amend and to instruct in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect and prepared unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16 TYNDALE'S NEW TESTAMENT 1534 Even though William Tyndale was the first to give us the New Testament in the common tongue in 1526, from the Greek; there is another who was the first man to give us the very first translation into English, that one was John Wycliffe, (Wiclif) in 1380. His was the dawn light of the reformation which later gathered momentum, and where many became martyrs for the sake of our Lord. John Wycliffe, born c. 1324 in Yorkshire; his most important achievement for which he is best remembered, was the translation of the Bible into English, the year 1382 saw the completion of this. There had been earlier translations of the gospels, the venerable Bede, 673 735; translated the Gospel of John into Saxon, this is no longer extant. Wycliffe's work was from the Latin, and Wycliffe himself was a scholar of excellence in Latin, far above his contemporaries. We see this in later years with William Tyndale and the Greek text. However let's look at that well known verse of John 3:16: Forsothe God so louede the world, that he gaf his oon bigetun sone, that ech man that bileueth in to him perische not, but haue euerlastinge lyf. Also I would like to make comment that the believer is NOT to be part of any division or schism in the church, for heretics cause division, we are not part of any denomination either, in the day of the Apostle Paul some were saying ' I am of Paul: and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of the Christ' 1 Corinthians 1:12. So too in this day some say I am of the Churches of Christ; I of the Brethren; I of the Baptist; I of the Assemblies of God, etc. etc. THIS IS WRONG, for all believers are members of the Churches of Christ; the Brethren; the Assemblies of God; the BODY OF THE CHRIST; the Household of faith; the Saints; the Beloved; the Brotherhhod; etc. etc. for these are terms used by the Apostles of the believers, we are NOT to become divided; but keep the unity of the Spirit. IT IS TO BE NOTED THAT I STAND WITH THE APOSTLES AND THOSE WHOM THEY TAUGHT; THE EARLY CONGREGATION or 'CHURCH.' THUS I DO NOT CARE IF ALL HEAVEN AND ALL EARTH OPPOSE ME...I WILL STAND FORTH AND CONFESS THAT YESHUA IS THE WORD MADE FLESH, HE IS THE MESSIAH, HE IS THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD !!! AND I ALSO DECLARE THAT IF ANY DENY THIS HE IS AN ANTI CHRIST. see 1 John 2:22 - 24; 4:14,15. The reason I cite the above texts is to show that no man may hinder any believer taking communion and that it would seem that any person who refuses or is taught that they cannot take communion, is firsly a person with NO life, and or secondly is a person who has been taught great error by false teachers, (the Jehovah's Witnesses are a good example of this error;) BUT the words of the Messiah are full of grace and truth. So let every believer after examining themself, PARTAKE OF COMMUNION and let no man hinder you, for the Lord Yeshua/Jesus said 'He who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, hath life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day' DOB IN A PAEDOPHILE As regards children; Yeshua said to his disciples, 'It is impossible that snares will not be set, but woe to that person who sets them. It would be to his advantage that he have a millstone hung around his neck and that he be thrown into the sea, rather then that he ensnare one of these little ones.' I therefore encourage any children who are being molested by family members, pastor, police, priest, teacher or any other; that you be not afraid to, dob them in to the authorities, who are there to bring these evildoers to justice.
