1. The Executive Engineer, Kendrapara Irrigation Division, Kendrapara on behalf of Governor of Orissa invites bids on percentage rate basis for the work detailed below in the table, in conformity with DTCN to be eventually drawn in PWD F2 contract from the intending and eligible contractors of class mentioned against each work registered in WR/RD/R&B/CPW for execution work on production of definite proof from the appropriate authority . Interested bidders may obtain further information at the same address. The sale of the Bid document shall start from dt.18.04.2012 during office hours & will be closed on dt.27.04.2012 at 12:00 hours. Bid documents ( except Sl.no.8,10,12,13 & 15 ) can be down loaded from official web site of Government of Orissa (http://www.orissagov.nic.in) or may be purchased from all the offices mentioned against the work in the table under column No. 4 as well as the office of the undersigned against a non-refundable fee towards cost of the documents, as indicated, in the form of Cash or Demand Draft issued from any Schedule Bank payable at Kendrapara in favour of Executive Engineer, Kendrapara Irrigation Division, Kendrapara or may be deposited in shape of bank draft prepared on or before the last date of receipt along with the Bid. In case of downloaded tender bidder should have to furnish the cost of tender paper @ Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) + VAT @4% for each work in shape of Bank Draft in a separate envelop marked cost of tender paper downloaded in favour of Executive Engineer, Kendrapara Irrigation Division, Kendrapara.

Bidding documents requested by mail will be despatched by registered / speed post on payment of an extra amount of Rs.500/over the cost of the documents. The Executive Engineer, Kendrapara Irrigation Division, Kendrapara will not be held responsible for the postal delay if any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same. Tender will be opened on 28.04.2012 at 09:00 A.M. in the office of the undersigned in the presence of the bidders or their authorized agent who wish to attend. If the office happens to be closed on the last date of receipt of the bids as specified, the bids will be received and opened on the next working day at the same time and venue. Contd..2

// Page-2 // 9. Additional Performance security shall be deposited by the successful bidder at time of agreement, when bid amount is less than the tendered cost by more than 10%. In such an event the bidders will deposit an additional performance security to the extent of the differential cost of the bid amount and 90% of the tender cost in shape of Post Office Savings Bank Account / National Savings Certificate / Post Office Time Deposit Account / Kissan Vikash Patra / Deposit receipt of schedule Bank duly pledged in favour of Executive Engineer, Kendrapara Irrigation Division, Kendrapara. The bidder shall have to produce an affidavit in support of authenticity of documents/ credential including E.M.D. accompany with the Bid. The authority reserves the rights to verify the authenticity of documents incase of any doubt or complain. The tender is liable to be rejected in absence of proper affidavit. The authority reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason there of. For a particular work a bidder can submit only one tender paper. Submission of more than one tender paper by a bidder for a particular work, will be liable for rejection of all such tenders as per Works Department Letter No.4985/WE dtd.28.03.07.
