Sealed tenders are invited under TWO BID SYSTEM as per conditions prescribed in the tender form for appointment of Regular Handling & Transport Contractor for foodgrains etc at Railhead & other Storage Centre within a radius of 20 km from Municipal Office/ Railway goodshed/Siding/Food Storage point(s) for the period of 2 years . Tender Forms can be purchased from FCI, Regional Office or concerned FCI District office on all working days between 11.00 AM to 3.00 PM from the date of publication to the date shown in table below on payment of cost plus applicable taxes (both non-refundable). The tenders for the aforesaid contracts will be received up to 2.30PM and Technical Bid of the tenders shall be opened at 3.00 PM on the date of opening of technical bid shown in table at Food Corporation of India, Regional Office, Chetak building, M.P. Nagar, Zone. II, Bhopal 462011 in presence of those tenderers or their representatives (only one for each tenderer with proper authority letter from tenderer) who wish to be present at their own expenses. The price bid of only technically qualified tenderers shall be opened at 11.30 AM on date shown in table in FCI Regional Office, Bhopal. The tenderers must fully comply with all the terms and conditions given in the Tender form. It is clarified that in case any of the stipulated terms and conditions are not fulfilled by the tenderers and incomplete or incorrect information submitted by the tenderer, he may be treated as technically disqualified and his Price Bid shall not be opened. The tenderer must submit attested copy of Registered Deed of Partnership/Memorandum of Articles of Association/By-laws/Certificate of Registration etc. as applicable, attested by Gazetted Officer/Notary & also signed by the tenderer himself. The tenderer must submit the tender document along with all its Annexures & Appendices duly signed on each page by the tenderer and list of documents attached as per the format in Appendix II, duly signed by the tenderer. No negotiations will be conducted with any of the bidders who participate in this tender. The Tenderer should make himself fully acquainted with the prevailing labour system at the concerned Railheads / Storage Centres. Tenderer must submit the experience certificate as per format given in Appendix VI of MTF. Where the estimated contract value of Handling & transport is less than Rs Five Crores, Tenderer without the requisite experience as mentioned in the Tender form may also participate subject to providing an undertaking that an additional performance guarantee in the form of BG of 10% of the contract value from SBI Bank or its Associate Banks or the other public sector banks will be given, if selected. The format of BG is to be provided in such cases is at Appendix V of MTF. The work may be awarded to more than one Contractor as per the prevalent guidelines, if required. A committee has been constituted at zonal level to redress the grievances of tenderers. Proof of EPF Code number allotted by RPFC may be provided.The prospective Tenderers should have ESI code no. for H&T Contracts in Notified Area.
