While breathing in deeply, press down on the cartridge and hold your breath as long as you can while the inhaler is still in your mouth d. Take your finger off the cartridge, remove the mouthpiece from your mouth, and breathe out gently. Wait one minute between puffs and repeat steps 2-4 if indicated e. Rinse your mouth or gargle after the dose is complete f. Clean the inhaler at least once a day by removing the cartridge and rinsing the plastic case in warm running water. Dry the case and replace the cartridge g. Discard the inhaler after the date calculated by your physician or pharmacist Pulmicort 1) Avoid contact with the eyes

Patient Consultation Duragesic 1) Patches should be applied to non-irritated and non-irradiated skin on a flat surface of the upper torso. Do not apply to extremities below the knee or elbow. Hair at the application site should be clipped (not shaved) prior to system application. If the site of patch application must be cleansed prior to application of the system, do so with clear water. Do not use soaps, oils, lotions, alcohol, or any other agents that might irritate the skin or alter its characteristics. Allow the skin to dry completely prior to system application 2) Patches should be applied immediately upon removal from the sealed package. If the hands are not the application site, wash them after application. 5) Do not shower, bath or wash the affected area for at least 1 hour after application 6) Avoid sunlight exposure to the application area 7) Get emergency help if you experience shortness of breath, chest pain, weakness on one side of your body, slurred speech, or swelling in the face or throat 8) Notify your physician if you experience yellowed eyes, nausea, black stools, unusual weight gain, or vomit blood 9) If you miss a dose, continue with your next scheduled dose.
