Is Fear Killing You?

One morning, a man saw the Angel of Death walking into his town. He was brave enough to ask, May I ask why you are here? The Angel of Death said, Im going to kill ten thousand people today. The man stepped back in horror and ran all around town. He warned people, I just saw the Angel of Death. He said ten thousand people will die today. But when nighttime came, seventy thousand people died. The next day, the man saw the Angel of Death walking out of town. He called after him and said, Wait! Wait! You said you were only going to kill ten thousand people. But there were seventy thousand who died last night! The Angel of Death shook his head, I killed only ten thousand. Worry and fear killed the others. *Roger*

AFTER EASTER EVENTS Jesus Goes Back to Heaven

After his resurrection, Jesus appeared to over five hundred people. He walked through locked doors, He broke bread with His followers, and he ate with them. Today, your child will learn that before Jesus returned to heaven, He instructed His followers to go into all the world and He reminded them of the promise of the Holy Spirit. Memory verse: Matthew 28: 19.

Pastor Jonathons Word of the Week

The mind could easily be the crossroad of the spirit and the flesh. It is the place where fleshy desire collides with the spirit of God in Christians. Christians find themselves making decisions to either obey the flesh or allow the spirit of God lead us. Every action you take, whether good or bad, begins in your mind. It would seem that our mind would be a place that we are heavily guarding against sinful thoughts or fantasy, but we do not! Most Christians believe that their mind is not a place that needs to be disciplined in Christ. Consider the following scriptures 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) 5 - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Mark 7:20-23, "That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications ... All these evil things come from within and defile the man." Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
