Classroom Policies 1. Class attendance is highly important. Two unexcused absences (for a 5-unit course) from class results to automatic withdrawal from the classlist. 2. Focus and attention during class discussion is expected. 3. Prompt submission of requirements: Requirements should be submitted during class period. Late submissions will be accepted on a case to case basis. Highest grade accorded to a late submission is 1.75.

4. All course requirements should be compiled in a portfolio. Reports should follow the suggested format: Arial 11, Letter size, 1.5 spacing, 1.25 inch left margin/1 inch top-bottom-right margin, page numbers should be indicated at the bottom left portion of page All reports should bear the letterhead of the University with the name of the college and the department. Dates should follow this format: Date-Month-Year (e.g 11 June 2011) 5. Plagiarism: Always quote authors and references for ideas that are not of ones own. Plagiarism shall result in an automatic 5.0 for every plagiarized written output.
