According to the Decree of the Russian Federation Government 1310 of 28 July 2011 the 16th International Homeland Security Exhibition Interpolitex 2012 will be held on the territory of the main Russian exhibition ground All-Russia Exhibition Centre (Moscow) from 23 to 26 October 2012. This prestigious Forum traditionally invites attention of the leading Russian and foreign manufactures of special equipment and armaments for law enforcement bodies and special operation units directly working in order to ensure national security.

Demonstration program of the exhibition is the distinguishing characteristic feature of the Interpolitex in comparison with many other foreign military-technical salons. Live demonstrations of special technical equipment and weapons as well as demonstrative tactical exercises of Special Forces units together with presentation of special and armored vehicles are traditionally held within the framework of the exhibition at the special shooting and testing range in Moscow Region. This year on the territory of International Exhibition Interpolitex 2012 will be held final competitions of the 10th International Tournament on Martial Arts for the Cup of Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) between fighters serving in Special Forces Units of the CSTO member states devoted to the 20th anniversary of signing of the Collective Security Treaty. Each year according to the results of the International Homeland Security Exhibition Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation and other corresponding security and power agencies and services select dozens of new products for operational testing and further use in their work. These and other samples put on display at the exhibition are awarded by Gold Medal Quality and Security Guarantee and Special Diploma of Laureate of the contest
