Profile
I am a performer, songwriter and audio engineer with a keen interest in the production and staging aspects of live and recorded performance. I take great satisfaction from peoples enjoyment of live entertainment, whether as a performer or as a member of venue or production staff. It has always been my aim for people to leave a performance with a smile on their faces. I enjoy the urgency and excitement of making sure the show goes on and am able to keep a clear head under the pressure which arises when things do go wrong in a live performance. Last year I completed a Diploma of Music Industry (Audio Technology) under Ian Taylor at Southbank Institute of Technology.

2009
I worked in the Queen Street Mall as a stage manager/audio engineer on a casual basis. I performed a variety of roles PA set-up and operation for live music. This ranged from soloists through a small PA to 8-piece bands through a full concert PA. 2
Operation of Yamaha digital audio consoles (01V, 01V 96, LS-9 16). Set-up and operation of stage lighting. Stage management. Maintenance of audio and lighting equipment. Event supervision, eg, Jan Powers Farmers Markets in Reddacliff Place. Liaise with clients and general public.
2000-2009
I worked at Perfect Potions head office and manufacturing facility on a casual basis where I performed a variety of roles Despatch work - including basic warehousing skills. Management and oversight of Christmas gift pack production. This included organising staff rosters; planning and achievement of production quotas; quality control, and record-keeping for the above tasks. Proofreading of Perfect Potion publications, including the company newsletter, customer newsletter and various PR releases.

Venue set up. This involved preparing the venue for various events, from corporate awards nights to musical theatre to touring bands.
