Rhonda's roommate is Sandy Louise Harling, a blond southern belle and struggling actress who moonlights as a waitress at a bar called 'Shooters.' Jake Hansen is an unemployed manual laborer who can't shake off Kelly Taylor, a cute 17- year- old girl from the series "Beverly Hills, 90210." Jake and Kelly decide to go out on a date to Shooters, but they find themselves watched over by Kelly's disapproving friends, David, Donna and Steve. Even after Jake dumps Kelly, she comes back to him.
Season 1, Episode 2: Friends & Lovers

While moonlighting as a taxi driver, Billy picks up a young dental student, named Marcy, and she practically moves in with him which frightens him and makes Alison jealous. Meanwhile, in a continuing cross- over from "Beverly Hills, 90210", Jake is still being pursued by Kelly who has a crush on him. When Jake gets arrested for getting into a fight at an unemployment office, Kelly bails him out of jail and still goes after him despite learning of his "colorful" police record. Jane experiences a crisis when Michael can't remember when he fell in love with her.
Season 1, Episode 3: Lost & Found

Jane feels lonely when Michael has no time for her when he comes home late every evening. So, Rhonda takes her out to Shooters where they meet two guys and proceed to go to the limits for a night on the town, until Jane loses her wedding ring. Billy finishes his first script and shows Alison. But she thinks it's awful and doesn't have the nerve to tell him the truth. Meanwhile, Jake finally decides to make a clean break when he invites Kelly over for dinner at his place and sets up a scene with an actress friend of Sandy's which makes him look very ugly to Kelly. Heartbroken, Kelly finally leaves Jake for good.

Alison starts drowning her fears and sorrows with hard liquor. Jo gets arrested for carrying a concealed weapon while she and Jake are trying to decide whether or not to live together after learning of the Melrose complex being put up for sale. After dinner at a Chinese restaurant, Rhonda and Terrence finally make up and they decide to go through with their wedding after all. Billy, Alison, and Jo are invited by Steve to his ranch for the weekend. Jo tells Steve she wants to slow down their relationship because she still has feelings for Jake. Steve breaks up with her. Later, back in L.A., Alison and Steve admit their feelings for each other and kiss. Meanwhile, Jake suspects that Amanda's father, Palmer, is involved in wrongdoings at the garage when he keeps ignoring questions Jake asks him about strange money transactions and invoices that he has seen. Jake also tries to deepen his relationship with Amanda by asking her questions about her childhood. Also, Michael tries to win Kimberly back, or at least keep her working at the hospital.

Sydney moves in with Jane and gets a job as her personal assistant and more than expected attention from Jane's new Australian beau and business partner, Chris Marchette. When Sydney gets in contact with the amnesiac Michael, he regains his memory and confronts Kimberly about being the one that tried to kill him. Meanwhile, Palmer approaches Amanda and urges her to hide him while he gets his money from the bank so he can leave the country while Brittany rigs Jake's boat with explosives. Amanda starts making Alison's live miserable at work again when she fuels her conflict with Billy after he moves out of Alison's place. Jo meets with Reed's parents again whose kindness turns to hostility when they sue her for custody of her unborn baby. While Kimberly is searching for alternatives in becoming a mother, she meets Jo and proposes to her a solution for the court verdict: they will fake the baby's death so Jo can leave town to raise it on her own. Meanwhile, Amanda discovers that Peter has begun taking over D&D by anonymously buying large chucks of D&D's stock. Also, Matt's parents invite him over at their house for Thanksgiving dinner, but they want to introduce Jeffrey only as a friend to the rest of the family.
Season 3, Episode 12: The Doctor Who Rocks the Cradle

Alison is arrested for drunk driving after hitting a boy. Alison then unsuccessfully tries to win back Billy, but she's more lucky in court. Jane gets $500,000 for a business expansion and give Chris (whom Jane still trusts) the job with handling the money. But Chris instead steals the money and kidnaps Sydney. Meanwhile, Amanda shatters Bruce's plan to merge D&D with a big advertising company when she publishes the information, so Bruce fires her. Kimberly's plan to be a mother takes off when she finds a stillborn baby at the hospital, so when Jo finally goes into labor and gives birth to a baby boy at the beach house, they substitute the stillborn for Jo's baby so they can get rid of the Carter's lawyer. But Jo soon learns of Kimberly's true plans the hard way.

Jo desperately tries to get her baby back from Kimberly, but since it's officially dead, she can't prove that it's hers. Meanwhile, Sydney enjoys being Chris' captive in Las Vegas. But when Sydney finally learns that the money Chris's spending and gambling away is Jane's, she calls on Jake for help. Michael, Jane and Jake fly to Las Vegas to rescue Sydney. But Chris slips away with the rest of Jane's money, leaving behind Sydney who surprisingly gets lashed out by the paranoid Jane whom accuses her of being in league with Chris, and even Jake is skeptic to Sydney's abduction story. Bruce's ghost also tells Amanda to break up with Peter because he has another mistress and will murder Amanda to take control of D&D for himself. Meanwhile, Jeffrey decides to enjoy life and buys Matt expensive gifts. Matt tells Jeffrey that he can't cope with this style of living and decides to end their relationship for good. In rehab, Terry helps Alison face her drinking problem and declares his love for her.
Season 3, Episode 16: Bye, Bye Baby

Jo hires Emily, a charming Englishwoman, as a nanny to look after baby son, Austin, while she organiz es her departure from L.A. But Emily is not all as she seems. Alison returns from Twin Oaks, but doesn't lose her connection to Terry and ignores Billy's offer of help. Rikki and Martin convince Sydney to leave Melrose and come live with them at their desert retreat which turns out to be a polygamous religious cult. When Sydney decides to leave, they lock her up against her will. Meanwhile, Michael convinces Amanda, after another diagnosis, that she has Hodgkin's disease (lymph cancer). Amanda wants to keep her condition a secret and ignores Michael's request that she reduce her workload. Detective Jonathan Rawlings, a gay cop, questions Matt about his beating and when Matt tells him of his suspicions about Kimberly, Rawlings shows his true colors when he physically threatens her.
Season 3, Episode 20: St. Valentine's Day Massacre

At Martin Abbott's desert retreat, Sydney tries to convince him and Rikki of her loyalties to them while she waits for another opportunity to try to escape, while Jane and Jake set out to rescue Sydney after Jane makes a background check on Martin and learns that Sydney's in a notorious cult. Alison inadvertently makes matters even worse when she tells the client to stay by confiding in him about Amanda's illness. But the client leaves anyway, and more clients do so after word of Amanda's illness spreads through D&D. After Jo's apartment is broken into and trashed for the photos she took of Rawlings murdering the drug dealer, she and Matt hesitate on what to do. When Rawlings thinks that Matt and Jo will expose him to Internal Affairs, he holds both of them hostage in Matt's apartment to get them to talk to look for the photos. Meanwhile, Sydney thanks Jane and Jake for rescuing her from Martin Abbott's cult, but to her surprise neither one still does not want to associate with Sydney again, and worse still, neither Jane or Jake will apologiz e to Sydney for thinking she was responsible for the incidents for they still mistakingly think Sydney is capable of doing such things. The morning after Kimberly blows up the Melrose apartment complex, everyone is in the hospital suffering from some form of injury. Alison is temporarily flash- blinded and Billy postpones his honeymoon with Brooke to move back into his ruined apartment to support Alison. Richard Hart, who's wife was killed in the blast (and the only fatality), is comforted by an unusually callous Jane who proposes to continue business at the company as usual. Meanwhile, Kimberly is arrested and is so bewildered that she can't remember anything about the bombing the night before, while Peter prevents Michael from sending her to a county psychiatry ward in order to take care of her himself. Jake wakes up in the hospital after surviving the fall and is hurt with the news that Jess did not, leading him to take out his frustrations on Jo. In jail, Matt contacts his parents for help in facing a murder trial and they hire Alycia Barnett, a professional criminal lawyer, to help him. But unfortunately for Matt, skepticism knows no bounds for in a recycled storyline (see ep. It's a Bad World After All), not only Matt's lawyer but his own parents, refuse to believe him that he's innocent of the murder he's being charged with.

As Craig and Syndey plan their wedding, Amanda suffers an emotional breakdown after she's unable to keep D&D clients from leaving for Craig's new company. After Michael forces Peter to give up his position as chief of staff at the hospital, Peter wises up to Michael and Taylor's scheme after he makes his own MRI scan and finds out that he does not have epilepsy. Peter then attacks and severely injures Michael's hands and plots to murder Taylor for betraying him. Megan then confronts Michael about him using her to bring down Peter and tells him that they are finished. Also, Lexi turns Amanda's night out into trouble when she spreads a vicious rumor about Amanda sleeping with an visiting New York ad executive to receive an award. Season 7, Episode 13: The Night the Lights Went Out at Melrose
After Jane temporarily moves back into the Melrose complex, Michael continues to keep tabs on her, while she agrees to be Alex's model. Meanwhile, Eve tries to pace her passion for Peter after their first romantic night together. Megan continues to hesitantly rebuff Ryan's moves towards her, while she adopts a stray dog during an outing in a park. Everyone's plans come to a disastrous halt when a city- wide blackout traps Amanda and Peter together in an elevator, and Michael lands in trouble when he is falsely arrested for looting which turns even worse when the police car he's in gets stolen by a looter. Also, Lexi begins to shut herself off from the outside world after her failed attempt to ruin Amanda and ends up going for a midnight swim in the Melrose pool.
Season 7, Episode 14: Suspicion

Amanda sends Jane to Chicago to help Alex in order to keep his account at A.W.A., where Jane vows to remain all business. But Alex reveals that he still has strong feelings for Jane. In Los Angeles, Michael tries without success to get to Chicago while Peter tries to arrange a bachelor party for him. Meanwhile, Kyle becomes suspicious when Eve rejects a chance for a record deal and his suspicions grow stronger when he discovers that Eve has no past history anywhere. Lexi sets her sights on Ryan, who continues getting the cold shoulder from Megan. Peter continues his blossoming relationship with Eve, but complications arise when he too suspects that she's hiding something of her past, while Amanda (who knows about Eve's strange past) covers for her when Eve disappears for the day. Also, Peter's therapist, Dr. Visconti, finally meets Amanda for the first time and he too becomes smitten with her.
Season 7, Episode 15: Fiddling on the Roof

Michael and Jane's wedding day arrives where the devious Lexi tries to keep Ryan from the wedding in order to work her way closer to him. But Jane has an attack of conscious that temporarily calls off the wedding, but an intervention from Amanda and Peter saves the day. At the reception, Michael succumbs to a combination of his jealousy, too much champagne, and Alex's sudden and uninvited arrival which also angers Jane when she soon discovers the true nature from her business trip to Chicago. Megan, intoxicated after walking into Ryan and Lexi together, seeks companionship with Michael, which ends when they both fall though the roof of the Melrose apartment complex into Amanda's bedroom.
Season 7, Episode 16: Lethal Wedding 4

Peter and Eve travel to Peter's home town in Texas to straighten out items after the sudden death of his father which prompts Peter to think about securing a life different from his lonely father's by proposing marriage to Eve who immediately accepts. Upon returning, Peter and Eve, with Amanda and Kyle in tow, set out to Eve's hometown in Oakville to elope. Meanwhile, Amanda arranges a night alone for Jane and Michael to get them back together, by locking them up in the Melrose laundry room. Lexi opens up her feelings to a hostile Megan in order to sooth their strife over Ryan. After hiring a lawyer to sue Michael for divorce and emotional distress, Jane confides in Megan about a problem of hers that makes Michael's feud with her secondary. Also, Kyle finds a connection between Eve and Amanda when he follows them one night to the nursing home of Eve's invalid grandmother.
Season 7, Episode 17: When Cheerleaders Attack

Kyle finally learns the connection between Eve and Amanda (that was in Matt's journal) when they tell him their story of going to high school together and the night when they murdered Eve's abusive football player boyfriend after he attacked the girls which Eve took the fall and spent 15 years in prison. Eve and Amanda then plead to Kyle to keep their history a secret who reluctantly agrees. Later, Eve and Peter's honeymoon is temporarily interrupted by a nudeable Lexi making a play for him, who in return threatens her. Meanwhile, Michael goes easy on Jane at their divorce deposition after being told by Megan about Jane's health. That night, a drunken Lexi makes a scene at the Jaz z Club in which Ryan and Megan have to subdue her, which seems to bring them back together. Also, Amanda considers "signs" that she should reevaluate her life with Kyle of starting a family.
Season 7, Episode 18: Suddenly Sperm

Michael decides to sell his beach house to settle his debits, and his attractive real- estate agent, Linda, quickly sells and seducing him in the process. At the same time, Jane reminisces about her and Michael's first meeting and accepts a date from an shy agency co- worker. Meanwhile, Ryan is assigned to escort supermodel Catherine McCord after his first date with Megan goes bad. Amanda's plans to start a family with Kyle may not ring true when he tells Peter about his suspected sterility. Later, as a result of a lab mix- up, Peter tells Kyle that his suspicious of being sterile are correct. Also, Lexi and Amanda call a truce between their agencies for a charity event. Here, Eve's marriage to Peter takes a turn when a man, who used to work at the prison where Eve served the last 15 years, recogniz es her and threatens to reveal her secret to Peter.
Season 7, Episode 19: The Usual Santas

The Christmas holidays begin badly for everyone when a Santa- suited Peter, Michael, Kyle, Ryan and Louis Vicontti are arrested after being mistaken for a group of Santa- dressed bank robbers. At the same time, Amanda hires the band Hanson to play at the Upstairs Jaz z Club's fund raiser for ailing children. Meanwhile, an uptight, annoying judge sentences the quarreling Michael and Jane to be with each other for the holidays. Ryan and Megan renew their relationship beginning with a weekend long bed- in together. Also, Eve turns to Kyle for help when her blackmailer threatens to tell Peter about her prison past. Michael resorts to hustling the Whilshire's medical funds to get $100,000 to invest in Perry's shady business deal, and later regrets it when Perry skips town with the money. Meanwhile, Eve tries to intervene to settle the riff between Amanda and Kyle but not does not succeed due to Amanda's anger and Kyle's further decent into excess. Also, Megan's secrecy about her work to find a man for Lexi makes Ryan suspect that she's returned to her old prostitution profession.
Season 7, Episode 22: A Fist Full of Secrets

After being tipped off by a drunken Kyle about Eve's past, Peter travels to her home town in Oakdale to conduct his own investigation and meets the parents of Eve's deceased football player boyfriend who still bitterly hate her for the death of their son. Meanwhile, Ryan confronts Kyle about his drug and alcoholism, while Amanda decides to reach out to Kyle despite his problems. As Valentine's Day approaches, Kyle and Ryan's domineering and militant father, Mack, arrives in town for a visit for Kyle's birthday where he soon causes trouble for both of his sons during a dinner with them and Amanda and Megan. Meanwhile, Jane throws Michael out of the apartment after finding out about the sexual harassment charges against him after a confrontation with Audrey. Peter suspends Michael, while the rest of the hospital staff refuses to support Michael in his lawsuit knowing of his past reputation. Lexi continues to pressure Megan to find her soul mate, and she eventually discovers who is her perfect match: Ryan. Also, Peter objects to Eve leaving town with the Jaz z Club band for a gig in San Francisco. Season 7, Episode 24: Saving Ryan's Privates

Kyle disappears after he torches the building site of his and Amanda's house where he reveals his secret to her about him being sterile. Season 7, Episode 25: They Shoot Blanks, Don't They?

After Amanda's visit to Kyle (now committed to a rehab clinic) does not go well at all, rumors begin to fly about Amanda and Peter getting chummy with each other. In Mexico, Lexi and Ryan brainstorm on an ad campaign, then compete with each other to see who will take credit for their idea. Meanwhile, Michael starts a counter- lawsuit against Whilshire Hospital for $2 million in damages, while Audrey continues to hound him after he makes up with Jane. Eve, jealous about Peter and Amanda's relationship, sings her latest gig at the wrong place at the wrong time and gets arrested. At the end, when Amanda thinks that she's pregnant, the news sends Kyle into a jealous rage and he accidentally injures her while fighting with Peter.
Season 7, Episode 26: How Amanda Got Her Groove Back

While Amanda is in the hospital for her injuries, the rumors about her and Peter's alleged affair only strengthen among everybody at Melrose, despite their denials, which sends both Kyle and Eve packing, he for Boston, and she for a getaway with an old friend from prison named Jackie. Meanwhile, Audrey splits town, but not after double crossing Michael when she sends the videotape of them together to Peter, and Jane accidentally sees it as well which reveals all of Michael's sins. Also, Lexi researches Ryan's past and travels to New York and meets three of his ex- girlfriends whom he deserted after proposing to them.
Season 7, Episode 27: Unpleasantville

Lexi finally launches her plan to break up Ryan and Megan by persuading Megan to propose marriage to Kyle first in hopes that he will panic and leave in a huff as he did with his other former girlfriends. Dr. Ilene Schulman, the chief resident at Whilshire Hospital and an old foe of both Michael and Peter, returns and threatens both of them as they vow to fight her ruthless, tightfisted corporate policy at the hospital of denying people medical treatment for their lack of insurance. When Ilene discovers Eve's background, Eve's friend, Jackie, decides to take matters into her own hands. Amanda, now reconciled with Kyle, can't balance finances regarding her current and future homes, and starts to turn a cold shoulder towards Eve. Also, Jane moves out of Melrose to get away from Michael and she moves into his vacant beach front house and throws a housewarming party for some of the Melrose residents.
Season 7, Episode 28: Ryan's Choice

Shortly after proposing to Megan, Ryan makes a run for it according to Lexi's plan, but not for the reasons she suspects. Instead, Ryan travel to a catholic boarding school in New York to visit his eight- year- old daughter, Sarah, whom no one knows about, and who's in the care of his sister- in- law, Terry, who still blames Ryan for the death of his wife in a car accident years ago. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Ryan keeps his promise to Sarah of not ever marrying again by breaking up with Megan by telling her about his fling in Mexico with Lexi, but he also confides in Kyle about his secret. Meanwhile, Eve faces a return to prison because of her involvement with Jackie. But a quick intervention by Amanda saves Eve from that. Michael rallies the hospital staff for a protest as Dr. Shulman makes a play against Peter to bring him down. Eve also learns that the land in Texas formerly owned by Peter's late father is more valuable than anyone thought when oil is discovered on the property. Also, Amanda puts more time into her

Season 7, Episode 29: McBride's Head Revisited

Michael and Lexi join forces and travel to Poughkeepsie, New York to investigate Ryan's secret and end up masquerading as a reverend and nun, respectively, to get inside the catholic school where they finally meet Ryan's daughter, Sarah. Alone with Sarah later, Lexi pretends to be Megan to ask the little girl more about Ryan. Back in Los Angeles, Eve and Peter make separate investments with their windfall when Eve wants to invest in the Upstairs Jaz z Club, and Peter decides to buy out the hospital. Meanwhile, Amanda sets Megan after Lexi's clients to bring them in for A.W.A., while at the same time, Amanda learns that an anonymous financier has asked to buy the Melrose apartment complex. Also, Jane meets a Jim Rogers, a potentially new client she considers her "knight in shining armor," but who becomes obsessed with her after a one- night stand. But the final twist comes when Lexi reveals to be the one that bought the Melrose complex and her first things are increasing everyone's rent as well as evicting Amanda and Kyle.
Season 7, Episode 30: The Daughterboy

Having caught Megan in bed with Michael, a new conflict begins between Ryan, Megan, Michael and Lexi which soon turns nasty and makes Ryan think about getting closer to his daughter Sarah. Michael also tries to get back together with Megan, but with little avail. Meanwhile, Amanda tries to land a prospective new client for A.W.A., a devious millionaire named Tony Marlin, who suggests a veiled condition for his business. When Marlin meets Eve for the first time at the Jaz z Club, he tells Amanda that Eve should be the one for a commercial advertisement. Michael and Peter put the hospital psychiatrist, Dr. Louis Visconti, as a spy on Dr. Irene Shulman to find what she's up to, but they don't expect for the two of them to get as close as they do. Also, Kyle begins to criticiz e Amanda's return devotion to her work than being with him which leads him to seek companionship with Jane whom they are living with at the beach house. At the end, Sarah runs away from the catholic school and somehow arrives in Los Angeles where she runs into Michael and Megan at the Melrose complex.
Season 7, Episode 31: Bitter Homes and Guardians

Amanda re- awakens her ruthless, take- no- prisoners, greedy business attitude when she begins firing staff, including Jane, to finance Marlin's test commercial which will star Eve. Eve then tells Peter that she cannot go away on a vacation with him but must go to Maui to film the commercial for Marlin's cruise liners, where Peter tells Eve to bring him along. Meanwhile, Michael and Lexi come clean to both Megan and Ryan, respectively, about their trip to New York investigating Ryan's past. Lexi then tries to court a favor with Sarah by giving her a large doll house, while Ryan does not know where he now stands over his relationship with Megan and his being with his daughter Sarah. Also, Kyle continues to resent Amanda's self- serving attitude and threatens to end their marriage over her dismissing Jane from the agency.
Season 7, Episode 32: Floral Knowledge

On the cruise liner sailing along the Mexican coast to film the commercial, Marlin orders Amanda to run an interference with Peter to keep him away from Eve as he sets his plan to seduce her. Back in Los Angeles, Lexi, with

Undaunted, Lexi manages to steal the film of Marlin's commercial from Megan and destroys it with Michael's help, then sets her sights to snare Marlin for her own agency. Meanwhile, Terry and Ryan square off over custody of Sarah, who changes things making an abuse claim against her aunt. Also, Kyle and Jane question their relationship and realiz e that they are meant for each other after all.
Season 7, Episode 33: Lexi Gets Stif f ed

Amanda sees her own finish to her agency after her finished film product for Marlin somehow gets destroyed which leads to Amanda deciding to shut down her company. Meanwhile, Peter, feeling guilty about his fling with Amanda, tells Eve that their marriage is over and he sets his sights once again on Amanda. But Eve does not take it gracefully in which she goes over the deep end and decides to plan revenge of her own. Terry lobbies for a bigger place in Ryan's life to be with Sarah by coming on to him, which quickly arises jealousy in Megan, until Ryan proposes to Megan once again. Jane also shows a bit of jealousy when Kyle shows his concern over Amanda closing her agency. Also, Michael gets jealous as Lexi tends to business with Marlin to land his account.
Season 7, Episode 34: Dead Men Don't Shut Up

After Marlin accidentally dies from an overdose of Viagra while being with Lexi in her apartment, she asks Michael for help to take Marlin's dead body back to his house to cover up any guilt of being indirectly responsible for his death, but Michael demands a price: to be with Lexi by commitment. Meanwhile, Terry tries to interfere with Ryan and Megan's coming wedding by revealing her feelings, and her body, to Ryan. Repressed memories about the Demarr football player murder are triggered in Eve. So, Peter asks Dr. Visconti to find the source of the memories, while Eve is befriended by Lexi after seeing that Eve is slowly moving to the brink of insanity and is capable of violence against Amanda and Peter. Also, Jane wonders if she may be pregnant and hesitates on telling Kyle. At the end, after the wedding of Ryan and Megan, Terry suddenly appears and kidnaps Sarah in her car which leads to a highspeed chase with Ryan which ends then Terry's car crashes into a telephone pole.
Season 7, Episode 35: Asses to Ashes

In the thrilling series final, Terry and Sarah survive the car accident where Ryan finally makes amends meet between Megan and Terry, who agrees to leave town and Ryan to start over his life with Megan and Sarah. Meanwhile, Eve's sanity finally cracks when she kidnaps both Lexi and Michael as part of her plan to murder Amanda and Peter and set Lexi up for the fall, while Amanda's guilt over the Demarr football murder surfaces for everyone. Peter begins to have other problems when Irene Shulman starts a new plan to bring him down by charging him with mutual funds charges. After Jane tells Kyle that she's pregnant, he's eager to start his life over with her, but Jane suspects that Michael may be the father of her unborn child, but doesn't tell Kyle. Also, Michael tries to pressure Lexi to marry him, but she refuses for her career at Thomas- Sterling- Conway comes first. Fleeing from both a police investigation and the murderous Eve stalking them, Amanda and Peter take refuge at Louis Visconti's mountain cabin. When the police close in, Amanda and Peter fake their own deaths by blowing up the cabin. In the end, Peter and Amanda skip the country and secretly marry on a remote tropical island, while Eve is on her way to a lunatic asylum with no one to help her. Ryan and Megan live happily ever after as does Kyle and Jane. While a lonely Lexi continues running her advertising company, Michael, having covered for Peter and Amanda and receiving $1 million in bribe money, settles with his new job finally being the Chief of Staff at Wilshire Memorial with a large- breasted nurse as his
