February 1, 2012 Dear Bishop Senior, My name is Daisy Angelica Montero and I would like to request the Sacrament

of Confirmation. It is my decision to do so because I am ready and it is one that I would like to receive. I have prepared for the sacrament by saying my daily prayers in the mornings, nights, and at any time I feel the need to pray because when I do I feel liberated. When I speak about the Lord, I feel that my soul is cleansed with all his goodness and I get a feeling so strong that I begin to cry and crompehend his decision making.I study weekly by going through work given by Ms. Nancy, such as work from "The New Testament" or thinking and discussing Bible Readings like the ones given by mass on Saturdays. I study daily by taking the time to think about the Reading of Psalms which are my favorite and think "Look at what the Lord has done. Look at what I have done." I use stories of the Bible to relate to today's everyday things. I attend classes every Tuesday from 4:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m. Also, I help younger kids that are in a lower grade level receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion at 3:00 p.m. I have recived my Sacrament of Baptism and Holy Communion. Each time I spend with the Lord is a step closer to his identity; even if it is only touching the bare tip of it. The Confirmation name that I chose is La Reina De Los Angeles because she inspires me to beleive in anything and everything I do. Everything is possible and it will be worth it to beleive in my strong faith when it seems that all is lost because at the end of the day I will have been grateful to have been given the grace of living a life of truth. She is capable of great miracles and healings. With her. I beleive that maybe the world will unite as one for all nations and become a world of peace as she has done for the people of Costa Rica. I have accepted the responsibility of living a Cristian life through service to God and to others by learning about my faith each day more and more; not only to make myself and God happy, but to have my actions reflected upon by people as they would beleive in their own faith as well. I plan to make the gifts of the Holy Spirit I will receive at Confirmation a part of my life in the future by spreading the Word of the Lord and taking part at religious gatherings and living a life of good will by following The 10 Commandments. I will spread peace through new acquaitances, friends, and family by speaking of the Graces given by the Lord and explaining as much as I was taught. I know that words are not the only way, but actions will speak louder. I am asking for this sacrament freely and dearly. Thank you for taking your time to read this letter because it means alot to me and my faith. Sincerely,
