Safety Precautions
Operate Safely: Make sure to charge the battery full for the first time usage. Keep the mobile phone at least an inch away from your body while dialling / answering calls. Do not use the mobile phone if the screen is cracked or broken. Cracked and / or broken screens could cause injury to hands and / or face. To reduce the risk of motion injuries: - While using your mobile phone, hold it with a relaxed grip and press the keys lightly. - Do not handle the mobile phone with wet hands. - Use of special keys / features reduce the number of keys presses - Take regular breaks in between calls. - Use hands-free accessories. - Switch off the mobile phone before cleaning it. - Switch off the Mobile Phone and external power sources before any attempt to change batteries, SIM Cards or any other accessories. - Keep your mobile phone and all accessories out of reach of small children and animals. Careful handling: Avoid potential damage to your mobile phones as under: - Keep away from liquids. - Avoid using and / or storing in dusty and / or dirty places / environments. - Do not drop, knock, throw or otherwise handle the mobile phone roughly. - Avoid exposing your mobile phone and / or batteries to extreme temperatures. Extreme temperatures reduce the charging capacity and life of batteries and mobile phone.

- Never use damaged chargers or batteries. - Do not use chemicals or other cleaning solutions to clean the mobile phone. - Use moist or anti-static cloth. - Avoid using mobile phone with camera flash or light close to the eyes. - Do not dismantle the mobile phone and / or accessories without permission. - Handling by unauthorised personnel. Turn Off In Restricted Areas Use of mobile phones in certain areas / places / conditions can be hazardous. Switch off your mobile phone: - Inside aircrafts; - In Medical hospitals / clinics; - Areas where chemicals are used and / or stored; - Fuel and gas stations; - In and around areas having electrical / electronic equipments; - Areas where any kind of blasting activity is being carried out. Removing, installing or charging mobile phone batteries in such areas is hazardous as potential sparks may result in explosion and / or fire and may cause damage to property and / or life and can also prove fatal. Drive Safety Avoid using your mobile phone while driving and respect and obey all regulations that restrict the use of mobile phones while driving. Primary consideration while driving should be safety. Interference with Electronic Devices Mobile phones emit Radio Frequency (RF) signals that may interfere with unshielded or improperly shielded electronic equipments, such as pace makers, hearing aids, other medical devices and other electronic devices in homes and / or vehicles and may prove to be hazardous.

Protect Your Hearing Excessive exposure to high volumes may cause hearing problems. Maintain proper volume levels for conversations and / or music.

Use and Dispose of Batteries and Chargers Use only iBall accessories and batteries. Using incompatible batteries and / or accessories may damage your mobile phone or cause injury. Never dispose the battery or mobile phone in fire. Never crush or puncture the battery. Avoid exposing the battery to high external pressure, which can lead to an internal short circuit. Never place batteries or mobile phone in or on heating devices, such as microwave ovens, stoves or radiators. Battery may explode when overheated.

SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) Information


Telecommunications standard prevent the sale of mobile phones that exceed a maximum exposure level known as SAR of 2.0 W/kg. During testing, the maximum SAR recorded for this model is below 2.0 W/kg.

1. Using iBall Aasaan


1.1 Install/remove the battery
1.1.1 Install the battery 1. Open the battery cover.

2. Insert the battery.

3. Cover the battery, ensuring the battery cover is locked properly with a Click sound.

2. The battery could easily be removed by pressing the edge of it and lifting the battery with your fingers.

3. Cover the battery, ensuring the battery cover is locked properly with a Click sound.

Note: Be sure to turn off the mobile phone and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. Use only iBall battery designed for this mobile phone.

1.2 Insert/Remove SIM Card


1. Insert the SIM card: Remove the battery cover and the battery. Slide the SIM card in the slot (with metal connectors) facing down as shown in the image.

2. Remove the SIM card: Press the corner of the SIM card with one finger and remove the SIM card.

Note: Please do not touch gold-coloured contacts with your fingers. If dirty, wipe the card with a soft cloth.

1.3 Battery Charging


The mobile phone could be charged either under power-on or power-off state. Before charging: make sure the battery has been installed in the phone.

1. Plug the charger in the power socket and charging pin to the phone.

2. After charging: unplug the charger from the power socket, and unplug charging pin from the phone.

Note: You can check the battery charging status by the battery level which is indicated on the screen.

Low battery warning If the battery gets low, the mobile phone will give warning alarm and show a message of low battery. If you receive a low battery warning during your dialling/answering call time, please charge the phone so as to continue the call.

1.5 Turning ON/OFF the Mobile Phone


Turning ON Long pressing key will turn on the mobile phone; If PIN code has been set to the open state, the mobile phone will automatically ask you to enter the PIN code. You may enter the PIN code and confirm by pressing the green key to start the phone.
Warning: If you enter incorrect PIN codes consecutively for 3 times, the SIM card will be locked, and the phone will ask you to enter the PUK code (to solve this problem, please contact your network service provider)

Turning OFF Long pressing key will turn off the mobile phone.

2. Know your Mobile Phone


2.1 Standby State
When the mobile phone is ON and not used for sometime, it will automatically go on standby state.

Warning: Please keep the SOS sliding switch at its initial position under Non-SOS state. If the SOS switch is already in the SOS state before turning on the mobile phone, the mobile phone will ask you to confirm the SOS state at the time of turning ON the mobile phone. If the SOS switch is not reset when the mobile phone is under power-on state, you have to reset it and start-up the SOS function in case of an emergency.

2.3 Function of Keys

2.4 One Key Hearing Aid

You may long press

(Hearing Aid) and set the volume at the hearing aid level.

How to set hearing aid volume: 1. Press the Navigation key and enter into the main menu, then select [Settings] > [Aid volume]. 2. You may press the Navigation key or Volume key to adjust the volume, Pressing the up key or + to make the volume higher; Pressing the down key or - to make the volume lower. 3. Press the Call key to confirm the settings.

3. Voice Calls
3.1 Making Calls
1. Enter the area code and phone number, and press the Call key 2. If the entered number is not correct, you can press the End key to delete the number on the left side of the cursor, or long press the End key to delete the full number.

3.2 Make an Emergency Call


1. Set emergency SOS call: be selecting [Phonebook] > [SOS Number] > [Editing], you may set 5 emergency numbers at your will. 2. If you have not set the emergency SOS numbers, the mobile phone will show SOS Number is empty for 3 seconds and return automatically from the current state to the original interface after you push downward the SOS key. 3. If you have set emergency SOS numbers, the mobile phone will send short messages to these

numbers and then make calls in an top-bottom order after you push downward the SOS key. If the dialed number can not be reached, it will continue to dial the next number until one number is reached; after finishing the reached emergency call, the mobile phone will continue to dial the next emergency number until you push upward the SOS key to its initial position. 4. The mobile phone will sound emergency alarm when sending short messages and making calls to the emergency numbers that you set. 5. The mobile phone will not turn on its emergency calling function when you push downward the SOS key if the SIM card is not inserted. 6. If no one answer the call after dialing all the emergency numbers, the mobile phone will keep its state of emergency, and ask you whether to answer the incoming call (if any), under such a case, you could press the green key to answer the phone. After answering the call, the mobile phone will continue to dial emergency numbers. 7. The system will automatically return to the standby mode after you push downward the "SOS" key.

3.3 International Calls


1. Under standby mode, "+" symbol will be entered after you short press * for two times, then, you can enter the country code followed by area code and fixed telephone or mobile phone number (with no 0 as the prefix), and press the Call key to make an international call. 2. If you enter a P between the main number and the extension one, the mobile phone will automatically dial the extension one after getting through the main number. 3. How to enter a P: Short press * key for three times, then the P will be entered. 4. Press the green key to answer a call, the red key to refuse a call or hang up after finishing a call. 5. If you have already set speed-dial numbers, you can make calls to them after long pressing to the corresponding number key (2 to 9 ,#,*) under standby mode. You can also dial the voice mail number after long pressing 1 (if you have already set a voice mail number)

6. This mobile phone supports conference call function with up to 3 people (two ways with three parties). This function needs network support, so please apply to your network service provider for support before using this function. 7. You may press the Volume keys (+, -) to adjust the volume when dialling/answering a call. You may also long press the Hearing Aid key to set the volume at the hearing aid level set by you.

4. Short Messages (SMS)


1. When appears on the screen, it means you have got a new message. When your storage space for SMS is full, the will keep flashing until you delete some SMS. 2. When appears on the screen, it means you have got a new voice message. When your storage space for voice messages is full, the will keep flashing until you delete some voice messages. 3. Switch entering modes: press #, or press the Call key to enter in to [option] menu and then select Entering Modes. 4. Select SMS > Write Message to enter into SMS editing mode, then, you can write the message; After you finish a message, you can press the green key to save or send. 5. Select Voice Message > Edit Voice Message to enter into Voice Message editing mode, then you can record your voice message which could last for 24 seconds; after 24 seconds,the voice message will be automatically ended. After you finish a voice message, you can press the green key to save or send. 6. How to check your voice SMS: Select Voice Message > Voice Mail Messages > Inbox, then, press the Call key to listen to them. You may also press the End key to exit if you want to check them later. 7. For the Voice Messages, you may find all received voice messages in the Inbox, all sent voice messages in the Outbox, all pending and saved voice messages in the Draft box.

8. For the new messages,you may press the Call key to check the messages; or press the End key to exit if you want to check them later. 9. You may find all received voice messages in the Inbox, all sent voice messages in the Outbox, all pending and saved voice messages in the Draft box. Voice mail is a kind of network service, so you have to apply before you use it. 10. Emergency SOS message: Please edit an emergency SOS message which could help you in case of emergency. The mobile phone will automatically send it to specific numbers under an emergency situation. Only one emergency message could be set. 11. Delete messages: You can delete certain or all messages in the Inbox, Outbox, Draft box. 12. SMS Service Centre: With this function, you can set the SMS service centre number so as to receive/send messages without any fault. 13. Storage status: with this function, you could check the SMS storage capacity of your mobile phone and SIM card at any time. 14. Message Settings: In Message Settings, you could check Profile Setting, Memory Status, Preferred Storage.

5. Call Records
1. You can enter into Call Records by pressing the green key under standby mode. In the Call Records, you can find recent Outgoing, Missed or Incoming calls. Each function could store a maximum of 20 records. 2. Outgoing Calls records 20 recent made calls; Incoming Calls records 20 recent answered calls; Missed Calls records 20 recent unanswered calls. 3. You could delete all the call records by pressing Delete all Records. 4. With the Call Duration, you could check Outgoing Duration, Incoming Duration, Last Call Duration, as well as Total Call Duration, and clear all the call duration.

6. Phonebook
1. You could save names and phone numbers (contacts) to the phone memory and SIM card memory; Contacts saved to the phone memory are marked with ; contacts saved to the SIM card memory are marked with 2. Create new contacts: select [Phonebook] > [Add New Entry] to add new contacts: Select [Phonebook] > [Preferred Storage] to select the storage location (SIM or Phone) that you want to set. 3. Under the main menu, select [Phonebook] > [Search Entry] to browse the phone book. 4. Emergency contacts: Select [Phonebook] > [SOS Number] to add no more than 5 emergency numbers. You could also change, delete or set the state of the previously set emergency numbers. 5. Speed dial: You could set no more than 8 speed dial numbers, and make calls to them under the standby mode by pressing the corresponding number keys (2~9). 6. Delete contacts: Select Menu > [Phonebook] > [Delete] to delete certain or all contacts saved in the mobile phone or SIM card; you can also delete contacts one by one in this way: enter into [Phonebook], press the Call key under the contact name, and then, press [Delete]. 7. Copy phonebook: Select [Phonebook] > [Copy] > to copy the phonebook from the SIM card or from the phone. 8. Phonebook settings: Select [Phonebook] > [Settings] to select the storage location of the numbers, or check the storage state of the phone or the SIM card.

7. Profile
1. Profile: you can select [General], [Meeting], [Outdoor], [Indoor ] and [Headset] 2. You can select [General] > [Activate] to set the profile at the default mode; select [General] > [Customize] > [Tone Setup] to select sounds for incoming calls, SMS, turning on/off, and key pressing; press [Customize] > [Volume] to set volume; press [Customize] > [Alert Type] to select rings (you may set types like: from lower volume to bigger volume, or keep ringing), vibration and other modes; press [Customize Settings] > [Ring Type] to set mode for single or repeat ring; you can also press [Customize] > [Answer Mode] to turn on/ off the function of Anykey Answer.

8. Settings
8.1 Phone Settings 1. Select [Phone Setup] > [Aid volume] to set default volume for One Key Hearing Aid. 2. Select [Phone Setup] > [Time & Date] > to set Time, Date and Date format. 3. Select [Phone Setup] > [Language] to set the language from English or Hindi. 8.2 Network Settings Select [Settings] > [Network Setup] to apply Call Waiting, Call Divert, Call Barring and Network Selection. 8.3 PIN Settings Select [PIN] to set the state (on/off) of PIN. Please note: this mobile phone supports PIN function.

8.4 Reminder Select [Reminder] to set various reminder.

8.5 Alarm Select [Alarm in Menu] to set various alarms, check previously set alarms, or set alarms sound for the [Alarm]. 8.6 Restore Factory Settings Select [Settings] > [Restore Factory Settings] to clear all personal information in the phone and restore factory settings.

9. Calculator
1. Select [MENU] > [Calculator] to get access to the calculator. 2. Using the Navigation key to select +, -, , and other operators, and the green key to confirm the selection. 3. Press the red key to clear all entered information, and when the 0 appears on the screen, press the red key to exit the calculator.

10. FM Radio
1. Under the standby mode, you can turn on the radio by long pressing the Radio key; or turn off the radio by the same operation when the radio is working. 2. You may press the Volume keys (+, -) to adjust the volume when listening to the radio. 3. Select [Options] > [Preset Auto Search and Setting up], press the green key to enter into Automatic Search mode and set FM channel list; you may press the green key to continue the search or the red key to exit Automatic Search and listen to the current channel. 4. Select [Options] > [Manual Input] to scan the FM channel with your hand; the radio will broadcast the channel after you finish your entering. 5. Select [Options] > [Set Volume] to adjust the volume by pressing Up/Down Navigation keys or Volume keys (+, -). 6. Select [Options] > [Channel List] to view or edit the 29 channels on the channel list. 7. Select [Options] > [Loud Speaker] to switch the state (on/off) of the speaker after applying the headset. 8. Long press # to lock/unlock the keyboard.

11. Entering Modes


1. You can switch the entering modes by pressing # under message editing mode. There are Pinyin, English Letter, Number and other preset entering modes. 2. Pinyin: press number keys (2~9) to enter Pinyin. 3. English Letter: You may choose Caps, Lowercases, and their combination. This mode allows you to enter one letter a time. Each letter corresponds a number key (2-9), all you have to do is press the number key (one press for the first letter, two presses for the second letter.), besides, you can press 1 to enter frequently used symbols, 0 to enter 0 or spaces. 4. Number: you can enter the numbers when the Entering Mode icon becomes 123. 5. Punctuations: press * to get access to the symbols list under message editing mode, then move the cursor up, down, left or right by pressing the number keys( 2,8,4,6), and press Call key to confirm the selected symbol.
