The BBC Music Video Festival is back for another brilliant year, showing the best music videos of the year throughout the UK. This submission form will allow you to send your video for possible use in the 2012 Festival, either online, at an event, on a Big Screen or one of our showcases, such as Fusion at The Forum in Norwich. Once youve completed this form you can email us with a high-quality download link (no less than 720p), along with the completed form, to bbcmusicvideofestival@bbc.co.uk Alternatively, fill out the form below and post your video as a data-dvd or digibeta to:

BBC Music Video Festival, The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich, NR2 1BH DVD movies will not be accepted please send a data disk. Please send your video as a high quality or HD MPEG, MOV, WMV or AVI file and in 16:9 widescreen format.

Submissions must reach us by Wednesday 1st August 2012

Only videos released after 1st September 2011 will be considered.
If you have any questions concerning submissions, or enquiries about the Festival you can also email bbcmusicvideofestival@bbc.co.uk or ring us on 01603 284337. Unfortunately we cannot return any media sent to us, or show every video submitted. You will be notified if your video is part of the Festival, and where it will be screened by Monday 3rd September 2012. Feel free to attach more details about either the musician or director to your submission as this information will be used to describe your video in accompanying material and for on screen presentations. Dear BBC Music Video Festival 2012 It is intended that the following promotional music video (the Video) will be displayed as part of the BBC Music Video Festival 2012 (the Festival). Track/Video title: Artist: In consideration of a fee of One Pound (1.00) (receipt of which is hereby acknowledged), you confirm in respect of the Video: 1) that you grant the BBC a non-exclusive licence to: a) display the Video at Fusion at The Forum in Norwich between 3rd and 29th September 2012 and on the 22 Big Screens throughout the UK in September, October, November and December 2012. www.bbc.co.uk/bigscreens b) make the Video available for viewing on the BBC Music Video Festival facebook, vimeo and tumblr sites c) supply the Video to other Film Festivals around the world if requests are made CONTINUED........ 4

2. that you have the necessary rights in any artists or musicians performances which are included in the Video to licence the BBC for this usage and will indemnify the BBC in respect to any claims arising in respect of such use. 3. that you are the unencumbered owner of the copyright in both the Video referred to above and the musical composition and master sound recording embodied in the Video, and are free to enter into this agreement and have the rights to grant all the rights herein expressed to be granted. 4. that there is no obligation on the part of the Festival to use your contribution, and the BBC may edit your contribution as it thinks fit.
